It was widely reported last week that a Knightscope-brand security-guard robot collided with and injured a toddler at Stanford shopping Center in Palo Alto. (The company now disputes this claim, saying that the toddler collided with the robot.)

- reaction to "abnormal sounds"
- sensing "sudden environmental changes."
