Okay, I feel like every girl in their twenties needs to see this.

Your WHOLE LIFE is for firing dudes who don't act right. Your 20s is for learning, sharpening and polishing that skill.

It is not for continuous compromise. It is not a time to say this is the guy that I gotta make it with, because this is the guy that I have. And no matter what compromises, no matter what I don’t like, no matter what he does, I have to put up with it, because he’s my man. 20 is for firing dudes when they don’t act right. 20 is for figuring out what you like in certain men. 20 is for finding what kind of men are out there and which ones you want to keep and which ones you want to discard. It’s not for picking up other people’s clothes, it’s not for sticking it out when you’re not enjoying it anymore. 20 is opportunity to move onward, upward, forward. You don’t have any children, you’re beautiful. You’re working, working at a gas station. Nothing wrong with it. But at your time off, don’t be looking to spend time with him. Go look to spend time with some books and your brain, to get a new degree. So that you could put the gas station in your rear view mirror as you step forward into some other kind of existence, that won’t include him!"

After putting up with a 29yr old with four kids, I am 19 about to be 20 in two months and man did I waste my 2 years of teenage life over a man who constantly broke me. This time I’m done. I’m living my twenties.

They getting fired still in my 30s!!! And any other dudes who think I am gonna put up with bs!! They get fired at 40 and 50 too!!

My now husband and I had a baby and were shackin up right out of High School & I love him dearly!! But I don’t tell our story like a fairytale, we had great times although neither of us were ready for the seriousness of all that a real adult committed relationship took. We fought and made it through 13 years and to marriage but I do not recommend it to anyone I heard a lady say “don’t look at my ending as your beginning” that’s so true! I tell my sons, nieces, nephews and younger cousins to take their time and don’t rush into a relationship especially when you’re young! What you like in your teens won’t be the same when you’re in your 20s..& what you like in your 20s won’t be the same when you’re in your 30s! LIVE!! Have fun and get to know yourself and most importantly LOVE YOURSELF UNCONDITIONALLY that way you will not allow anyone to love you conditionally! 💜💙💚

I’m gay and I was in a very toxic relationship from ages 21-23 years old. I can say after being in that relationship I could never go back to anything like that. I have my Associates degree in Arts and now attending a university for my Batchelor’s degree of Science in Psychology in Summer 2020 with the help of Jesus lol can’t leave him out the picture. I really like these Judge shows and I thought Judge Judy would be my favorite but I've gotta say, Judge Lynn does what Judy doesn't. Judy's way of acting is to tear people down, usually with good reason but Lynn can d that, lord can she, but she can also build people back up if they've been broken before. I really respect that and wish there were more role models like her while I was growing up.

I’m 23 and just left a guy who seemed perfect but he told me that he broke up with his ex 6 months ago(they dated years), he wasn’t planning on liking me as much as he did and wanted me wait and to give him time because of emotional unavailability….cut him off immediately why would I compromise, it’s stupid I’m literally 23 and I could be waiting years for someone to get themselves together. If something is not beneficial to me in the now I will not be letting it stay dormant in my life.
