that is so accurate and it never crossed my mind i do alternative makeup and yeah I wear it because I like to look fancy i will be using this when kids ask me now :)
I love that! I don't wear make up unless it's for a stage, and that's exactly how it makes me feel - fancy. But do I need or use it any other time? No. If I wanted it to, why would I do it? Because it's fun to be fancy.
As a dude, i vibe with this. I wear makeup not to entice others, nor to make myself feel like.. a certain type of person. I wear makeup like I wear a vest, or some nice shoes. Occasionally it is not the situation, but the me, who dictates that fancy time has come! Dawn the high lift shoes and the golden sunglasses and bring out the fancy hats! Today I choose the woven trilby!
