Trevor Powers has become my favorite song writer. These tunes are wonderful & sound so good live! But his new record Heaven Is A Junkyard is one of the best albums i have ever heard. Incredible songwriting with interesting vulnerable topics & the production is top notch.

new kexp HQ have such a weird reverb on the DJ/locutor mic it's so weird and not radio-like... still awesome though. KEXP is legendary at this point

Been hearing a lot of chatter that it was the quality of this band that is causing the collapse of the Youth Lagoon moniker, and now we finally get a chance to hear them. I guess this is the Ariel Pink effect, because his band really elevated his live material too.

bass pedals, like on an organ. it's probably a midi controller for a synthesizer. it's triggering those piano notes
