I once commented something only for a bot to take my comment word for word for itself it posted it and it became the most liked comment in that comment section, never seen that before
That kind of bot has been here for quite a while now. They aren't just prevalent like the other ones. They'd be gone and then back again after a short while.

Yeah, like, I get the ads for 18+ stuff, and I get the scams impersonating RU-vidrs... I hate it, but I get it. But this? It's just incomprehensible. Truly a "My goals are beyond your comprehension" type shit.
Should be pretty easy, these bots probably post 2 types of comments, comments that are spammy, like crypto scams, etc. that get down votes but also other comments, the other comments serve the purpose of trying to improve the reputation of the account.
Yeah it's a new batch of bots that I've noticed recently. The other bots I get, they have links to whatever scam or malware they are peddling but the name bots, what's the end goal?
Connor, something very similar to this has been happening on Instagram comment sections for a very long time. I'll see many bot accounts there just leaving one-word comments all over the place. Sometimes there will be a random emoji attached to the word without any space between the word and the emoji.
my guess is that the pool of text that bots draw from has been 'poisoned', leading to this spam of nothing but names. at least it makes bots easier to identify and ignore, as opposed to the ones that steal comments
The bots need to spam these comments because they get a better ratio of good and bad comments, because the goal is to post bad comments, maybe crypto BS comments or something.
I used to roast people in yt comments usually in a style of 7 year old so RU-vid deleted one of my accounts and put the second one on some sort of a list that deletes my comments from big RU-vidrs comment sections. But hey, at least (hahdjejrbdihrsbs) can comment the same stuff with link under every video known to man in under 1 second and be just fine for years to come.
You think it's bad in general comments don't look in the replies! It's always Prawn Bots, people saying some version of the unfunny falloff joke, or people trying to get you to sub to their channel with 10 videos and 3 subscribers
Yes I have even seen them in music videos and anime soundtracks recently dont know if its a platform issue or maybe it really is the dead Internet theory
They do it as a sort of spam because names usually don't get flagged as spam by youtube, they do this and later change their name to those bots saying stuff like "link in bio for sexy pics"
Anyone with a name followed by 4 numbers are bots 99% of the time. And most of the bots now from what i see are usual comments and commenting normal things. And what is crazier is the bots are responding to bot comments like its a human.
I notice it since a few days too. Just now, so I search for the topic and found this video. Maybe a good idea to make a good and bigger video on it, with some research. It´s getting weirder and weirder, also the thing what Connor Leahay thought it´s gonna happen in the future, even more with AI.
I'm careful about who I talk to about Internet theories, but I've heard rumors they have developed custom comment sections, for each user, and I have to assume its in live comment sections as well, because I'll see replies to people from other users who appear to be bots, like they are all catering to different individual human users. I'm starting to subscribe to dead internet theory.
