How do you use Community Posts? Let us know in the comments! And for more info, check out this Help Center article: support.google.com/youtube/answer/7124474
i really enjoy community posts. i hope yt continues to improve and add new features. (for example, the "photo viewer" feels pretty janky, i hope this is improved)
Not sure if it's possible, but it would be cool if there was some positive way of adding ad revenue to community posts, if there could be an appropriate banner ad or something near the community post.
@@CadaGCreations. for me all my following is on TikTok 87k , I have put so much more effort into RU-vid yet struggled , it’s because as a drone pilot you basically need to spend so much money travelling for those shots
i dont make videos that often so community posts are how i make up for my lack of videos. also its a great way of talking about stuff that are too short for a video and too long for a short (i barely even post shorts anyways)
For community posts, I would like to see youtube enable the option for the viewer to hide/dismiss community posts after they've been read/acknowledged, just like we are able to do with long form videos and shorts. I've said this on numerous occasions, but there are creators out there who clutter their viewer's feeds with multiple posts per day (like more than 5 daily!!!) as well as numerous posts that are absolutely irrelevant to the content of their channel (I don't need to know that they are sitting on their decks consuming beverages in real time, when their channel is about animation or crochet etc). This has resulted in me unsubscribing from numerous channels, because I simply do not have the option to hide irrelevant posts that are not of interest to me. Another option would be to perhaps consider putting daily limits on how many community posts a creator is permitted to upload per day. I'm sorry, but there is absolutely no reason that anyone could possibly NEED to make more than 3 posts per day, every single day!!! Please consider this request. Thank you
Thanks for this feature. I use community posts to bond with my subscribers. Hoping to grow big because I am passionate about RU-vid. Let's keep pushing!!!
I use the community posts to keep my audience updated about the channel and important decisions about it. I also use quizzes, I make polls and I use generally all the options available that RU-vid gives. I love the options of this platform!
I use community posts to tease for upcoming videos, polling my audience to see what they want, sharing random photos of the day, or just keeping them updated on coming or cancelled livestreams. Its SO versatile, I love it!
I utilize community posts to provide information about upcoming videos, and conduct surveys with my audience to better understand their wishes. Additionally, I share random images daily and announce planned or canceled livestreams. This style is versatile and diverse, and helps me create stronger connections with my community.
Why can’t I upload photos to my community posts? It said RU-vid can’t find any photos but actually there are pictures on my phone. What’s the issue here?
I feel about community posts, I have used it for 2 years and I have rated it as very good...
