@@sabueso344 RU-vid creators are given copyright protection on anything they upload to RU-vid, assuming it was not previously copyrighted. But RU-vid grant themselves a royalty free license on your content and extend that to all viewers on the platform. Basically, they can do whatever they want with that content on the platform after you upload it. They are under no obligation to share their ad revenue. They get to decide the rules on monetization. And they implement the rules. It's not AI just getting things wrong. The algorithm is doing what it was designed to do. It's tilted in favor of finding any violation in order to demonitize your channel.. The pimp does not have to pay if he doesn't want to.
YT ducking accountability and enforcing censorship is really getting out of control. As the dominant platform they should be investigated for this by the government, it's abuse of a monopoly.

Im paying RU-vid premium to watch content creators without ads. Im getting more and more ads everyday and instead of what they promised, the content creators are getting blocked. Such a BS.. Tnx man, for your hustle..
This is weird. I am not saying I don’t believe you. I don’t get ads and have premium but there may be SOMETHING about my viewing or location or SOMETHING about whatever it is I do that affects the algorithm etc (or could it be me using an apple device?) that makes a difference. This is worrying…even more so than if we all were getting ads. Then, at least, we’d all be getting the same treatment. But this is beyond the unfairness of paying and not getting what you pay for. This is them picking and choosing and us not even knowing what the heck it is that makes a difference

Unfortunately we seem to he at the point where any kind of rival site would get snapped up by one of the tech giants (Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc) as soon as it starts to gain traction. That or it gets muffled by the search engine algorithm
I've been saying this for over 4 years now. Google has been a thoroughly incompetent owner of youtube and its been going downhill ever since, and doubly so for the last 8 years... sadly, this was completely predicted with the goo-tube merger in 2006.

To make it easier for you to understand how wrong you are, you are basically saying: A newscaster/journalist is a job because they don't own the platform they are on. A lawyer is a job unless you own the law firm That an athlete isn't a job unless they own the league or at least the team. Reactor is technically a job, and frankly one that requires far more work than the payoff is worth, especially given every reactor basically needs a lawyer or a team of lawyers, or they will end up spending more time fighting bogus copyright claims, mostly from people that don't even own the original content, they are just weaponizing the copyright claim process. Perhaps you should learn what a job is because you're confusing having/doing a job with being a literal capitalist by the strictest definition.
This is like eBay PERMANENTLY suspended and banning me from selling on their site after over 10 years at 100 percent positive feedback and nearly 10,000 feedback! They would not tell me what I did either! All they would do is tell me I was a "threat to the community." WHAT THE FVCK!!! 10 years with almost 10,000 100 percent positive feedback and I'm a "threat to the community?!" That makes no sense at all to me. The kicker, they also PERMANENTLY suspended my mom and dad from selling on there anymore either as I could possibly use their accounts to get around my permanent suspension! These people are assholes to the highest order! I probably made over $100,000 for eBay as well over those 10 years. I was a cash cow for them, as far as I thought. Now, obviously others are supporting them with 10 to 1000 times what I was, but, for me $100,000 in fees is a LOT of money! I spent over $25,000 on product to sell that I am now stuck with that has been collecting dust for over 4 years now! I could have tripled that. Instead I lost $25,000! Thanks eBay and RU-vid! So, I feel your pain Cliff! Keep your head up!

Oh I’m aware of what’s happening now. I think people just forget that ALL creators are constantly spending more time fighting for every video versus creating. It’s a nightmare and we feel bad. Well, atleast I do. I want to give people a place to chill and enjoy chatting and hanging out

They demonetize you but they still run ads on the video... they just keep ALL the revenue rather than giving you some. This seems like the main reason they wouldn't want you to know what you did, and why they don't want you helping others "obey" the rules. RU-vid has been doing creators dirty for years, no matter what you do to try and fix your channel. Just recently saw one of the channels I followed for years get removed, not banned or on strike, it's gone! (MXR Plays). So good luck trying to figure out what RU-vid wants, and as always I appreciate your channel and the breakdowns/reactions and knowledge on the music industry.
RU-vid is run by people with agendas. Not Everyone has the same agenda as you. There are people who exploit the struggle of others to fatten their pockets. With the increase of inflation, our economy and the people are struggling. If you are struggling, just know you have the strength to get through it. 🙏
YT sucks. Needs some competition. They delete comments. Block users claiming they harassed people (have done that to me), etc. I'd gladly switch to something else to watch what I want to watch.
Ads drive me crazy, I hate them, I pay premium so I don’t have to. I moderate on a couple of channels so I need to be able to read all the comments, but I can’t. For example; a video with 300 views, 130 likes, 10 comments, but I can only see and read 6 comments. The RU-vid moderator in lives streams just randomly delete comments for breach of T&C’s and all they have said is ‘hi how are we all doing this morning’, but they don’t delete someone hurling profanity. Like really? They want to censor and control everything but ignore technical issues. I’ve made regular complains about the comment section for at least 6 if not 7 years and nothing has changed 😤
I remember back around 2007-2013ish watching all kinds of stuff AD FREE! Now whenever I start a vid, I get 1 ad for about 1 minute, or 4x 10 sec ads and also multiple ads every.. like 3-7 minutes watching 😮💨

They make money when they demonetize channels. It’s a way to get out of paying a check. They started this practice years ago prior to RU-vid when websites used them to fill their ad space. Web publishes would get demonetized for vague and unrealistic reason’s. Most channels have moved past the standard monetization model to finding sponsors and other streams of revenue.
I am sorry that you are having problems with UTube. It might be time to switch to the competitor. What ever you decide, I definitely will support and will follow.
One of my favorite reactor channels just got completely removed from RU-vid for a video that was 3 years old. They had already been demonetized earlier for another old video. Also RU-vid still shows ads on videos they do it to so they are just stealing money. I think I’m about done here.

This happens to all creators at some time. Take the advice of people who have been in the same situation. YT kicks up dust every year or so and makes everyone go to other platforms for the content.

RU-vid already banned/terminated other YT accounts that had 2 strikes, then another one for a video(s) years ago, and the content is still on YT. Go figure.. Also, YT should have some notice like 1-2 weeks before it updates, cause that would give creators time to read, re-edit, an other stuff to YT creators need to do it keep monetized, so when it does update shit like this don't happen.

afaik, youtube didn't lose any court case recently, only google. And the case google lost was about google doing backroom deals to make sure google search engine was the default in a lot of phones/etc so even that wasn't connected to youtube.
One of these days there has got to be a better alternative to YT. YT used to be great and it used to be about creativity and learning.. but it's kind of gone to shit. Idk if it's because of how large it's gotten or if it's because of new people at the top or just that the people at the top got rich and don't really care so much anymore, but it's a problem. When so many creators are saying the same damn thing and the top people at YT are not listening, it's a problem.
