Cat jumps on fence. Mom: "Where you going?" Cat: "Oh I'm going places. Somewhere other that in the bath tub." 2 minutes later. Cat: "So I'm just gonna sit here on the chair and enjoy the fluff-ball dogs being de-fluffed in the water, and pretend I'm giving moral support and not laughing!"

I've never seen such loving care that two people shower on their animals with. Truly amazing. Mr. Phil has more places to hide outside. Funny how he is totally okay once he gets in the bath. Shane is a gem with how he does all the bathing(clearly I haven't seen all the videos), but bathing Milo was funny. My Siamese would have been talking/yelling to me the whole time, and then sulking once it was over. I would pay by her distancing. Does my heart good to see how much love these animals receive.

Where do you take them for exercise? Do you relieve themselves before you go or not? Do you pick up after them wherever you go? Malamutes have a great temperament, especially the ones you have. Even the cat liked playing with them.

Reminds me of when we had a wolfhound. Bath time was a whole family evolution. Morgan did not like having a bath, oh happy days.

With my dogs, I just fill the bath tub half way and add soap. I make sure that I have my assorted giant dog towels handy, spread on the floor and a bunch folded on the toilet seat. We both get in the tub, because I'll need a shower when we're done, and I can use the shower nozzle (wand)to do the final rinse of the dog. The regiment is wash dog once in the tub which is half full, rinse dog while draining tub and unplugging drain of hair (I keep a kids sand bucket in the corner of the tub for the extra hair), wash dog second time with shower nozzle (wand) and unblock drain and collect hair, time for conditioning with salon conditioner (the best stuff you can buy that is non irritating ), I always go to a cosmetics warehouse and buy a reputable conditioner like (Paul Mitchell/ stay away from dyes, color, heavy perfumes ), if you go to a proper warehouse (ask your hair dresser/barber/stylist) and buy in bulk (4L jug) it is cheaper than buying any supermarket /drugstore brand and the quality is 10 times better, I use baby shampoo to wash the dog (buy in bulk too), work the conditioner in for a good while, like your giving a massage, get the conditioner down to the skin level (avoid eyes/inside ears/genitalia /or sensitive spots/ you can use a medicated vaseline for sensitive stuff after the bath is all done/inside like polysporin), allow coition error to sit while you have your shower (sometimes it's tight for spaces in there), rinse dog well (not thoroughly /you want a bit of conditioner to help with the grooming and brushing part), dry yourself off/ put on something to groom dog with, dry and groom dog/ add ointment for cracked paws/nose/ sensitive areas, put all towels in big bag ready for the wash, throw out excess hair, rinse tub and tidy bathroom (if your big towels covered floor and you vigorously washed the excess hair out of coat, you should be pretty good), change into good clothes and toss dog grooming clothes in bag with towels (take them to wash in 24hrs or less). I do this usually at night time before bed, when the dog is more settled and fed. At this point we go out for last toilet, come back in, put a fresh covering/blanket/sheet in the dog bed, put the wash on, and goodnight. Yes, I am a heterosexual man, I like my dogs clean and comfortable, with a well adjusted routine. The earlier in the life of the dog that you start the regular baths, the easier it is, and the more they like it, cats too! It's also a good time to check their bodies for cuts/scrapes/scratches and bites, also "bugs". You should take donations of old towels from family/friends/neighbors, get a nylon wash bag that you can store all the dog washing stuff in, and wash it with your dog stuff. DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON THE CONDITIONER!!! Your dog has way more hair to contend with, you simply can't understand unless your a sasquatch or a wookie. Take my advice, go to the cosmetic warehouse once a year, and buy the 4L jug (1 gal.). I wash my dogs twice a month, long hair cats once a month, short hair cats everyother month (start them as kittens, and bring them in the shower and let them just play in the water a few times a week so they get just a little damp). Make it a good experience for them. If your in there with them, they won't think it's so strange and scary.

i think milo wants to climb walls and trees, she might even go to neighbours houses and will come back for lunch or dinner and sleep, its funny to see cats climbing arround 😀

I actually found an adaptor that attaches to your inside faucet and you can attach your garden hose to that and just run it through a window or door. That saves trips back and forth carrying hot water.

Make sure you don't get water in their ears, it could lead to infection or worse. So cup the ears w your hand before you pour water over the dogs head. I was cringing every time he dumped that bucket right over their head.

Firstly, your dogs are GORGEOUS!!!! Secondly, aren't you supposed to rinse them at the end of the bath? This may be why one of you dogs is experiencing problems with itching. Just asking. Other than that, every dog should enjoy such heaven on earth. God bless both of you for loving these beautiful babies.

we "bathed" our dog (a mix of german shepherd and malamute) maybe 1x a year in the summer within a small clear creek and only with water(so we wont destroy her natural fur impregnation) then let her dry. when she got wet because of rain/snow we allways rubbed her dry with old towels befor she was allowed to enter the house, she never smelled bad in her whole 17 years

I really enjoyed this video. I am such a huge lover of all animals and find that animal videos help to make me feel happy and calm. Especially when I'm not feeling so good. Unfortunately, I decided to read the comments section after and felt myself falling deeper and deeper into a pit of disappointment. So many negative comments. And so many of those negative comments are repeated over and over again. I know some people mean well, being concerned over whether or not the dogs were rinsed properly. But there must be over half of the comments section asking or commenting this exact same thing. First of all, take a look at all 3 of these beautiful animals. Other than feeling a bit sorry for themselves because they have to have a bath, to me they look like very happy, very healthy and very much loved animals. Although I am new to this channel, I have been binge-watching their videos and it looks to me like these pet owners know what they are doing and they clearly look after their animals very well. Regarding whether or not they rinsed the dogs off properly after their bath, personally, I just guessed that they did it after. They aren't recording every single moment of their lives, so we don't see absolutely everything! Ugh. Rant over. I just needed to get that off of my chest and I feel better now because of it! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. 😊

Why do you confine the cat to the small garden? Cats enjoy roaming and climbing, and generally are explorative creatures. I understand that there is a slight risk of injury to letting him outside, but that's like saying we shouldn't leave our house because we might trip and fall.
