As the smoke from the wildfires continue to blanket the prairies - the #RU-vidGOLD crew is hard at work. We continue our hunt towards our 1/2 oz of Gold for the season. I definitely have more respect for the Gold Miners of the world.. because even in 1/14th scale - this Sh!t is HARD! Krazy Joe and Rookie 101 are onsite today to give "Sluice box Steve" and I a hand. Sluice box is good on the controls - ut we have so much more we can do with new operators.
Are we going to find Gold?! Of Course! The true secret of this show - is nothing you see is "real". Everything is generally staged (well as much as we can plan when playing!), and though we are mining for real gold (yes it's real pay dirt), the true Gold is the experience we get as friends, what we hope the viewers get watching a couple of goofballs entertain you with some very cool toys. One mans hobby, is another's entertainment on RU-vid! Now all I have to do is to continue learning how to sluice for Gold. We are all rookies, we have never mined before.. yet, I have always had a passion for Radio Control, and for finding Gold!
"RU-vid GOLD" is a #Parody series based around the GOLD Shows of TV that we all know and love. #GoldRush #YukonGold #BeringSeaGold all of these are shows that my family enjoy seeing!
I am using the older style of excavator, the 870K wheel loader, the DXR2 Dozer, and the 797F Haul Truck. These machines are very impressive.. and VERY HEAVY! All metal, all around... True hydraulic systems that have ample power for your Radio control modelling needs.
I have always known that making a GOLD MINE would be possible with RC models.. and finally I get to realize this dream - even if the scale is all 1/14th in size!

OMG! This is one of your best series! So funny and the equipment is just awesome. I know so many of us wish we had the money to buy all that equipment, but hey seeing you guys doing what we all would do with it is just as good! Although I think a lot of that RC Construction equipment will/has gone into many a backyard garden :). Please don't stop until winter.

Definitely could watch that wheel isolate gold all day, looking forward to seeing the new conveyors in action as well. Maybe you could go with a bucket conveyor or trim down the sides a bit to allow some of the larger rocks fall over versus catching the belt, another awesome video congrats on more gold

Its a damn fine crew you got there, you are a lucky man, so fun to follow this series. Its kinda fun to follow how you progress with the series in how you clip in with the small interviews etc. Sluice Box is growing an much more relaxed with the camera in his face, an really starting to shine. Obviusly Krazy Joe is a great addition to this series, he just have that small touch of madness we se in real life gold hunters, an his personality is great to put in addition with you guys. You need to get him that gold tooth! :D Rookie have much to learn but seems willing to learn! Keep it up i wait for next episode :D Btw with the dump truck ever be a natural part of the gold mining process?

I would like to think that it wouldn't take me long to get used to that equipment, but then again all them switches, who knows. I remember my first ride in a dump truck, although it was leg powered! And called a Tonka. Just sit down and scoot around. When I saw the PBR's I remembered the Supernatural episode when Ash asked why he should help out. Dean's line "because there's a PBR in it for you" love that show!

Simply the best video intro ever! This will never be surpassed, you may close the internet now. Actually, don't we want more #RU-vidGOLD! And, let's face it, they are all there to run in the dump truck. Honestly you could consider paying them in minutes running in the dump truck, I would accept right away, such a good deal.
