Dude dislikes are a freedom of speech even though it shows negativity it still matters for example there is a video that everybody hates the content creator who made that video gets review that the video is bad and he should fix his mistake now there is no more dislikes he has to manually scroll through comments to get feedback shame on RU-vid :(

I like how they did this to remove the possibility of dislike bombing, when there's a feature that didn't involve removing a dislike button to begin with: It's called disabling likes/dislikes on a video.

The actuall problem is that RU-vid doesn't really care, their main goal is to keep you on the site for longer so they earn more reveniue wheather it be brokering your data to other companies or the ads.

I honestly would not be surprised if youtube removes commenting on youtube rewinds altogether, as well.

They removed the number because too many children* were having their feelings hurt by the opinions of thousands to millions. And some of these children* wouldn't reflect on their content and continued producing bad content. *Most of these children are physically grown adults.

i mean the only people geting disliked bombed are cringey youtubers, big corporations, and the youtube chanel themshelves, so i am not really surpised they did it. It is really anoying not to know how well a video was received.

It is funny how the one of few ways we can show our opinion of a video is now considered a violation of a person's video putting out to the public to view. Why make good content if you are not going to be hated on? Lol Such a dumb world we live in.

So i had to troubleshoot a windows issue. Well with no dislikes its a pain in the ass to find a good tutorial or troubleshooting video Seriously it makes our lives harder. Especially when im learning or want to learn new things

You could say that RU-vid has tried to make opinions not matter, but in my opinion the worst thing is not being able to make fun of Nintendo for having almost 400k dislikes in most of the Nintendo online videos

The dislikes is supposed to be a feature we’re creators can see what their viewers really dint like and to give a warning to viewers like “this vid has many dislikes, better avoid it”

As a small creator who experienced “harassment” firsthand can confirm that this is a useful tool to help me grow because I had a massive fallout with my school which lead to lots of people to disliking my videos. It does help, but in most cases it is a very big problem for clickbait i see your point

Its weird cause they couldve just give an option to not show dislikes and lets say have it be the default and everyone would still say its because they have the most disliked video.
