Considering that RU-vid raised the price even higher than Directv it's getting close to not being worth it. Considering you only get 18 games in a season for a fan and most other streaming services don't even charge that much for a much larger library of content.
i've had directv since 1999, and the biggest reason that i kept it was to have the sunday ticket. the nfl really fucked over a lotta people with this streaming bullshit. not gonna write a book on my situation, but i streamed my first dallas game last week, and it was a horrible experience!!!
I love RU-vid TV. The cable companies don't want to sell you TV anymore, they want to sell you Internet access. The margins are better. The separation between who you get internet from and who you get content from will be more explicit in the future. If you don't care about live TV outside of Football season, then I get why having to pay for RU-vid TV makes Sunday Ticket a no go.
Also you can watch it on your phone if the Internet at your house goes out. That's why internet TV is superior when you have unlimited data on your phone. You can watch it anywhere you have cellular data. If you want to be fancy, you can connect your phone to a TV.
Buying the RU-vid TV thing on a monthly membership, isn't that for a year? Is there a contract to get stuck with RU-vid TV? This whole thing is so darn confusing, I'm really trying to understand it to buy it for my husband.
You can watch Monday on ESPN and do not need the Sunday ticket. Thursdays are normally Prime or local channel like Sunday night. Playoffs are always local channels.
