YouTube TV Removes Popular Shortcut to Quickly Return to Live TV: Here’s What to Do Instead! 

The big question is why they removed this simple but useful feature in the first place. 🤔

I am using a Sony OLED TV Sometimes the back arrow doesn’t work and you have to wait a few minutes before you can use back again on your remote

Anyone experiencing buffering difficulties with RU-vid tv? Their servers overwhelmed? I don’t experience with other apps. All tv’s in house lock up at same time. Thanks

When traveling, is it possible to watch my You Tube TV programs while in a motel room? Again, Dish had an app for that, although it was very clunky. Thanks again for your helpful advice.

This just doesn't make sense to me. Why would they remove this shortcut and lessen the quality of their app? Does it save them money somehow?

Nope Sometimes BACK Does NOT Work It was working recently in the last couple days it’s works intermittently

I miss RU-vid TV, Love the service but hate the price

Question: what's the best TV/remote combination that lets you go to a RU-vid live tv channel with one click? Right now with a Samsung TV I have to make 5-6 clicks to get to a live RU-vid tv channel, there must be a better way.

Thanks Michael for the videos. I need HELP please. Since this is the latest date of yr YT tv playlist, hoping you see this (or someone else is able to make knowledgeable comment). Advance apologies for length and prolly rambling... but have a little compassion for a very confused almost 75 y/o whose TV died last week just before the 🏀 finals I'm really into began. (have new TV which sits in store box, requiring construction before it can go on) Signed up for YT TV’s 21 day trial, week ago. No add-ons. Only using it with android app on Samsung Tab 7+ tablet. (also on S23 Ultra cell) Have spent tons hours reading, searching thru the RU-vid TV help sections. Just want to figure out how to pick the few stations/channels I want to watch live. Don't want to record anything. Looking at your playlists, seems there are lots YT changes since your Tips & Beginners Guides start dated 2 years ago-so I'm not sure what will best help me. Specific Questions, where I could be pointed to videos for answers: 1) explanations of what is considered "premium", ie: is a prime time major network show, considered outside of the basic $ plan? 2) if I put show that's on wkly into library, does that mean it will record every week or episode? How can I go find & directly go to specific show at time it's on? 3) really going to sound stupid but how do I stop the RU-vid TV app, aside from closing out app or logging out of that YT acct ? (2 hrs ago, I went & force stopped the app since I have no idea if it's chewing up my Wi-Fi data limits recording CNN 24 hrs/ day 4) are your videos more directed to use for actual television streaming vs using android app on a mobile device to watch? 5) tv SETTINGS area (upper R under acct name in android app) >in the "Live" section: how do I know which are Add-on (premium?) or not included in Basic? There NBA & lots of NFL on that "live" list, which I thought were Add-on or beyond $ basic plan. When unchecked on list, & you close out settings-they don't disappear but stay in same place when settings are re-opened. 6) maybe there's 'Dummy's (or Idiots) Guide to RU-vid TV' book available?
