RU-vid has no requirement to offer free speech since it is not a public space. It's no different than people having a right to come into your home to talk. Your right to control who comes into your home trumps freedom of speech. Are you sure you want freedom of speech on RU-vid? OK for adults seeking under age kids for...? Enemies of the US saying whatever they want? For most Americans "freedom of speech" = what I want to hear and everything else should be banned.

I agree. I have been here twice. Currently staying here with my GF and her daughter. I have old fashioned values. I love that about the Philippines. I’m a Christian and most have Christian values. But mostly, they speak on topics they've heard or seen on social media. I believe political correctness has become global and unified primarily through social media. The different agendas are now aligning with social norms that are now dominating public opinion. As you mentioned, Google and all its parts want the general public to share their connection to universal values and beliefs expressed worldwide. Yeah, I share many of the same perspectives that you have expressed, and I am deeply concerned about the direction this country and the world is headed due to the prevalence of selfish ignorance. To identify with any social aspect related to race, gender, orientation or color is simply a way of expressing a desire to establish a universal power structured order. Social media represents a new generation of people who don't want to deal with the simple principles of morality and respect. Selfishness prevails with no respect for personal preference or freedom.

Politically speaking the U.S. government loves anything that and be used to divide and conquer. The first “drag” show I ever went to was in Singapore by a Muslim woman in 1998, I had no idea Singapore got down like that. Singapore was that “fine” city that caned that American kid for spray painting cars. From my American perspective Singapore was a scary place. I fell in love with Singapore, Malaysia (scary Muslims. I got a lot of warnings about Malaysia) and of course Thailand. When it was time to go back to the U.S. I cried. Back to that divide and conquer culture.
Latinx is a way to avoid gender specification by saying Latino or Latina. One day when this craziness is over, everybody is going to try correct their docs by adding an extra X or Y after LatinX. So it will look like this: LatinXX and LatinXY.
I never take a survey. Growing up in the 40's and 50 's the only survey we took was if we had enough to play stick ball. They just want your information to try to sell you something you don't need anyway. Or maybe keep an eye on you so when the shit hits the fan if you don't agree with them they know where you are.
It’s more about politics than anything else. The gender neutral bathroom at Whole Foods in New York, Bryant Park was a disaster. Women, men, and children, homeless junkies all going into a bathroom with many stalls with a bathroom observer.
RU-vid doesn't give a crap about politics. They care about making money. Same with all businesses. Customers are demanding echo chambers, on all sides. I worked in tech and new a guy running a bunch of website which all had opposing views to each other. Kind of like ne guy owning Fox News and MSNBC. He wasn't targeting one political view, but instead was targeting people who strongly wanted an echo chamber. His "product" was stirring up people and he was earning very well.
I AM commenting here because Your comments are turned off on Grandma's cornfield video. Some people like to sleep in until 10:39am, and waste the better part of the morning sleeping. I have always woke up before the chickens (I AM always awake and up by 1:30am). Someone that sleeps until 8 am or later, has no clue about discipline. Using punishment to correct disobedience on Flo might be too late. But I AM sure if breakfast was serviced at 5 am, she would be there sharp. Anytime later dishes would be put away.

This is marketing. People only want a very narrow view of the world. For example "news" sites can and do present different people with define stories based on their understanding of the viewer's view. Viewers want to stay in an echo chamber. RU-vid would likely use the info to tailor suggested video. Most sites use a person's browse history to tailor content. Not the browse history stored on your computer. When you visit a site data is collected there, cookies store a kind of ID.
