The fact that Samantha remained jobless and then had the gall to call her husband a bad father while he was working two jobs is probably the most infuriating thing about this.
You just know that if this chick were still on RU-vid today, she'd be one of those that has her RU-vid account, Twitch, Patreon, and an OnlyFans, and still constantly bitches that her audience doesn't give her enough money.
Samantha Wohlford: I hate stupid people! also her: has 5 children (with no financial security), never had a career, sits at home doing nothing, buys $3,000 worth of makeup, kills husband and blames it on the guy she planned it with… Clearly the actions of an intellectual.
@@SolomonRasputin what's wrong w California? I know Texas is pretty out there but thought for sure your comment was going to be Texas and Florida are....
It’s so sad how he not only didn’t do ANYTHING to deserve being murdered, he was an angel who was raising and supporting several children who weren’t even his! He was going above and beyond and he was attractive, she had a guy most girls dream of having. It’s awful thinking about the pain he went thru when he died, how he wasted so much time and life around a miserable woman who constantly put him down when he deserved the opposite. RIP
Well, he might have been a nice guy, and in today's society might be a girls dream. But in the recent past, no girl with a brain would think this guy was a great catch.
Honestly, the children are prob better off with her out of their lives. They were little and she already didn't care about them enough to get a job or to just take care of them properly as she sat at home.
Ernie had such a sweet face, his disposition seemed to match from what I could see in the video. I bet he's watching over those children from a big fluffy cloud. 🐇
@@protecthislegacy3902 Lmao many Dads get their kids. Maybe not back in the day but most states now acknowledge the Dad even if he's not on the birth certificate. There's been many measures put into place to make it more fair. Kids need both parents.

I don’t get this, if the dad is working 11+’hours a day, he’s done his job, your job as mom is to fill the void that normally would be filled by both parents. It’s a team effort and if a girl is going to bitch at you even if your working 11+ hours a day, leave her ass quick af cuz it’ll only get worse
How could Samantha pull someone so handsome and actually caring, he doesn't complain much, he has a beautiful smile, and the softest eyes, he was such a caring person and she had to take him and his life.
To quote a former member of New Zealand Parliament - "His [her] brains could revolve inside of a peanut shell for a thousand years without ever touching the sides"

I feel so bad. This pisses me off. After working so hard and so many jobs for his kids and his wife and sacrificing his own time while his wife did NOTHING. She repays him by murdering him. Red flag when someone says "I'm one of the most opinionated people you'll ever meet" odds are those are very ignorant opinions. Most intelligent people don't brag about how opinionated they are and how they get mad when someone disagrees with them.
That bit had me baffled. How can someone even say something like that out loud? If one has that much self-awareness to realize it, how can one then not reflect on it at least enough to not tell the world?

Bruh, even in her own videos she just immediately makes herself seem like a psychopathic narcissist. And that's the 'good' side she wants to show the world.
Me too, I'm also subbed to That Chapter. I'm a bit of a true crime freak tbh. Adrian and Mike are so different in their approach though, so it doesn't feel repetitive.
There is definitely some kind of subculture growing with these social media obsessed people; I can't explain the fine details, but the way this woman speaks mirrors quite a number of people I've come across. People who think they're smarter or superior to everyone else, who go on an on about how messed up other people are, never take responsibility, and seem to live in this delusional world where everything revolves around them. I'm not talking about what she says, I'm talking about her inflections, her cadence, her tone of voice. I know it when I see it and I never like it when I see it

Yes having a FIFTH child will cause the relationship to become complicated when you're not secure financially I cannot understand people's need to continuously spawn children especially when you're not financially prepared for a family that large
These days it doesn’t apply but it goes way back. The wealthy would have 1 or 2 while the poor would have 7+. Back in the day it made sense because being poor they couldn’t afford medications and things like that. Poor children died more so it made sense to have more. That and the chance of one of them becoming something. These days that doesn’t apply much.
@@hanzohasashi1116 also keep in mind children were more likely to do work on the farm, or later factory/business. To give financial incentive for having a lot of children.

Then men on the internet can call you dumb. The only thing making her dumb is her lack of knowledge of anything and her “only my opinion matters” attitude. Such as yourself. @@supershasha Oof still not getting it. A lot of women would love to not have kids at all, but due to laws and policies that’s impossible. Just finished that chapter's video that was uploaded today about this case and now watching this video since I love both of your channels I don't mind hearing it twice in a row.
"She is caffeine addicted so maybe she'll be interested in coffeehouse crime" Yeah she loved your channel so much that she decided to get featured in it. LMAO
so sad. ernie was such a handsome.. hardworking.. amazing dad. i would have giving him the world and i don’t even know him.. i would never think of taking him out of this world.. i can’t believe this.. my heart is broken. wow.. another good man taken out by several monsters….
She definitely was one strange individual!!! I'll NEVER understand people whatsoever and for her to lie and to have her husband murdered is horrible!! I genuinely feel so sorry for the children because they don't have a mother or a father. So pitiful!!! Anyway, thank you Adrian for another extremely interesting case!!! I absolutely adore your videos!!!
It was clear that she didn't want to be a wife or mother...she could have left the family, or let Ernie leave with the children. Had she gotten away with Ernie's murder, she would have been left alone with 5 children to raise. In order to have the life she wanted...doing YT videos 24/7...killing Ernie was literally the worst thing she could have done. I meant that purely from Samantha's point of view. Obviously, killing Ernie was the worst thing she could have done because it was absolutely monstrous. He was a completely innocent, hard-working family man, and killing him to gain sympathy from her viewers was pure evil.
There is a guy who murdered his ex wife for not converting to Jesus and killed his daughter and tried to stab and burn his son. Then his 11 year old son had to testify against him in court. Guy "what did I do wrong", kid "....you stabbed me".
Poor Ernie looks about 16. What an awful, self centred mother. I cannot believe she thought any of this was alright 😭 she is a classic abuser, in my opinion. Samantha definitely got her just rewards. Love the last comment 😊 jail bait!!
Yeah meth helps in making really good decisions :) Having a BILLION TIMES the normal amount of dopamine flying around in your head makes you very lucid and good at planning.
This makes me so sad. Hated him playing video games on his time off from two jobs but he didn't mind her sitting around all day playing them or youtubing.
Funny… I was in my car waiting on someone… watching the @ThatChapter video and then the @CoffeehouseCrime notification popped up… got excited because I was just about finished with that one…
Her husband was so handsome and caring, he had 2 jobs to feed their kids, he loved his wife, but he died because of Samantha's stupidity and narcissistic behavior. I feel so sorry for this man :(
A disgusting case of narcissistic sociopathy. May their time within the walls of that prison be complete and total hell; And may those children find people who will treat them right.
'If I have an opinion on something and someone argues against it pisses me off really bad' 'I'm a dreamer I believe anything is possible' Other than someone having an alternate opinion to you, huh? That's not possible for you... ============================================= Adrian mate, I only just found Coffeehouse Crime yesterday. You've got a great channel, my man. Very articulate speaking too. Thanks for these.
Ernie was handsome and a hard-working father. He could've took the kids and done so much better. She didn't give him, or the children a real chance at true happiness and life. I'm glad she's locked up because I can only imagine how much she would've neglected the children before trying to enlist someone else to offer them the same fate as their father.
That is so stupid! That man loved their children. He worked hard to provide for their family. I am extremely disappointed and upset by what his spouse did. Only the good die young.
1) Adrian talks about people so nicely, even when they've done horrible things. Speaks to his character that he just can't help but have a hint of warmth in everything he says! 2) Those pictures of Ernie are so haunting. You can see the bags under his eyes from how tired he is working two jobs to support this family. He deserved a better life, he deserved real love :(
Those poor children, and Ernie really had no idea who he was really with still seeing the good in her through all her failings, very sad indeed all the way 'round.
This story is SO CRAZY to me because I went to high school with her!!! She was a few years younger than me and we didn't hang with mutual people but still yet!! I first saw this on snapped and couldn't believe it.
"fame is relative" Me: Yeah, well she must've been getting at LEAST 1000+ views/video at that time which isn't too much to sneeze at as a starting RU-vidr. "She was barely getting 100 views" Me: I apologise for my inaccurate assumption, I shouldn't have thought so highly of her.
I never knew what it was like to watch someone since their first video but I’m so proud of how far you’re channel has come Adrian! You’re absolutely killing it man:) keep em comin!!!
RU-vidr "That Chapter" just uploaded a video on this same case a few hours before you did. I like watching multiple videos on the same subject, this way you get more information on the cases and different points of view. Today was a good day for my true crime fix.
This was actually in my home town. I remember vividly when all this happened. People were actually scared that there were people randomly hitting homes. It was very shocking when it was revealed it was Samantha.
"Things seemed to worsen as the relationship progressed" you mean as they kept having children, an action known to put any relationship under pressure?
she's literally the perfect stereotype of an awful "alternative" teenager, that in itself is the biggest red flag out of all of the red flags, lots of us went through that stage but people who don't grow out of it seem to make up a LOT of murderers and abusers.
her dressing alternatively has absolutely nothing to do with how horrible of a person she is… and being part of an alternative subculture or dressing differently isn’t a “red flag”. while is there is many cases of alternative people being abusers/murderers/horrible people (Marilyn Manson, Varg Vikernes, etc.), i’d say there are a lot more “normal” people who are abusers, because they can hide in plain sight. Ted Bundy, Jeffrey Dahmer, Gary Ridgway, and countless others look like “normal” people, and don’t partake in alternative music, fashion, or media, but still end up committing horrible acts. while a lot of alternative subcultures include music/media with lots of gore and darker themes, the majority of the people who enjoy the media are completely “normal” outside of the way they dress and what they listen to. your generalizations show that you don’t really know anything about punk, goth, metal, emo, or scene culture. the majority of subcultures are literally based off belief in humanity and equality for all.
Well done for garnering such a large subscriber base in such a short period of time. Goes to show how much work goes into these videos. Well deserved my man 👍.
Twins must run really strong in her family. Those poor 5 kids lost both their parents that night. I hope they were able to be placed together with a loving family.
"The initial plan was to plant meth on Ernie, but after securing the drugs they decided it would be easier to just kill him" Yeah, they definitely did that meth. 🤦
Generally, Adrian, I admire your work. You have a calm and steady way of presenting your stories that I find very appealing. Many others who watch your videos have also commented that they appreciate your manner of presentation. But the stories I like best are those whose criminals are very intelligent and clever about organizing their crimes, and probably had a good chance of getting away with them. Only as a result of some unforeseen happenstance or perhaps failure to notice one tiny error they made did they get caught, and it took some competent detective work by an equally clever cop to bring them down. On the other hand, stories like this one about Samantha Wohlford, where the perp has little going for her except pretension, vanity, arrogance, and stupidity so that the police immediately know they are involved in a crime, are much less interesting to watch. Selecting which stories to tell must be difficult, maybe because there are so many to choose from. I have no idea how you go about making those choices. But as for me, I like the stories about clever criminals best.
I've watched several of your videos now and I find you to be an adorable, polite, and genuine young man. Your stories are well told and I enjoy the way you narrate them. Good job!
Crazy how any ad or promotion a RU-vidrs is PAID to promote, is always the most amazing thing ever lol even RAID shadow legends, I have literally never watched a promotion and said “oh boy I can’t live life without that”
I think that Samantha was frustrated that she wasn't a superstar, and lied on poor dude. He probably told her to stop being lazy and got him killed out of revenge. Made me laugh at the end bro!!😂😂😂
Sad to see what happened to a hard working man, who tried to keep his family afloat...a realtionship is never easy and its not getting easier with kids but life is about fighting, not killing when times are hard!! I hope this young lady will never see the prison from outside again. My prayers go out to Ernie and these sweet little innocent kids.

@@chrisbuttonshaw2088 On the surface level I agree with you. I think that one feature of humans though is that most individuals' notion of what intelligence is, is more arbitrary that they may realize, and is in fact more of an endorsement of others who share similar assumptions. You can't really know if you're intelligent if you can't talk to people who you disagree with. And one way of writing those people off is to label them idiots. Which is itself a form of idiocy. Consider if Hitler carried out his whims under the guise of ridding the world of stupid people. We can see that not only was his method wrong, but his rationale lacking legitimacy as well. Regardless, humans would blindly follow if his premise was accepted. People are just weird
I guess I'm saying that if people were more intelligent, I would envision that as having for more disagreements, but without the obligatory polarization and hostility we see today. We are indeed a stupid people in that regard.
