I've really enjoyed my time fishing down in Wales and will be back again, but this is slot more convenient for me when I don't have much time. And I can drive there, do a session and drive back. Where as Rhyl is about 2h45/3 hours of driving each way

I have 5 feet of 200lb mono line with a loop crimped at one end and a size 10/O circle or mitsu crimped at the other end. Above that towards the rod I have a link swivel. Above that I have a zip weight slider free running on 40lb braid with an eight ounce lead or 16 ounce lead depending on how strong the tide is. Stick a full mackerel on , put a couple of slits in it and give it a gentle lob . Fresh mackerel always out fish's frozen . Hope this helps 😁😁😁
