@@revolvingworld2676 Dude, I played the multiplayer mod with a friend, and he was laughing so hard at my response to this. I was so stunned by how many things were chasing us.
Took out one, which almost took my whole potion supply, but since I needed a third scale I had to kill another one and after that I just kept running away from these giant bastards.
pro tip for high difficulty: there's a spot you can kill them next to the save crystal and farm rare mats. If I could recommend one change for Ys games, it'd be to put a cooldown on the healing properties of save crystals xD

Tbh it's a little bit hard now. I've been playing on normal and since I just started chapter 5 its gotten alot more harder since. Its been easy until chapter 5 lol
that section was kinda awkward for me because i have a tendency of always full-clearing areas in rpgs, so when they said "Oh no, that roar woke up all the Primordials in the area!" all i could do was laugh because they were all dead already.
When you jack Adol with Strength Elixirs to have 3000+ strength and start one-shotting all the raptors and pterosaurs, stealth and speed become a second thought.
After this mission I came out of the map saying like Anakin did... "I killed them all, even the women and the children"... And it was all because of this tune, it's awesome!
Everyone comming here after a mission with a moonlight flower and being chased by 100 dinosaurs, and im just here after the first night raid wanting to jam out and do some homework.....
I specifically searched for this after being ganged up on by the seals and almost dying because the vines were bugging out! I fell from the tippy top for like three times and screamed like a child when those damned seals woke up. All for a chest. All for completionism. Memories of Celceta have scarred me with my 98% map completion, and now Lacrimosa of Dana will scar me with "stealth missions".
UPDATE: I finished the moonlight flower mission like 10 levels ago and i didnt even realize that that was what everyone was being traumatized off? I had rare gambling coin (rarity up) and bandit gauntlets (two arrows up version) equiped on laxia (main control) and I hit ONE, just ONE of the gathering points (the gathering point immediately left of the first area) for the flowers and I literally finished the mission at like 8% area map rate???? So I finished the mission in like 3 minutes??? Didn't even see the dinos people were talking about so I was very confused when I was already at 90% map rate and I still haven't seen the dino flash mob. I'm already at Valley of the kings so i just went back to 100% clear night gendarme and my god were the t-rexes so easy at level 56 lmao. Idk, I guess I shouldn't have been so scared of a mission? lmao
This theme made me want to go full berserker but after like 5 seconds i noticed, it might, just might, not be a good idea to go apeshit with like 25 primos on me xD
I just completed this game. The soundtrack was great! But that ending though....... We all know how Adol's character is portrayed, but I wanted him to leave the Island with DANA.
If any of y’all have Pikmin 4 I’d recommend trying one of the Lumiknoll missions with this music, you pretty much get the same vibes as Ys VIII’s night missions
I had no problems with that mission on Nightmare mode. The Pangaia Plains one was much worse. Once you get the egg, trying to get back to the camp is the brutal bit. There are so many Primordials that you can't possibly fight them all.
The Pangaia Plains mission was the hardest one for me. Reaching the egg was the easy part. It was running like hell back to the camp with all those Primordials chasing you. It's suicidal to even try fighting them all.
Was trying to show a buddy how fun the stealth missions are with the 1000s of dinos following you to this track and the only vidoes up are people actually being stealthy. Very disappointing. If your dino train is under 50 you are doing it wrong.
everyone talking about how hard it was for them to get the moonlight flower because of the T-Rexes and im here just murdering every one of them because I farmed the fuck out of the game
