It's the (Universal Drum)! Farsi, Gaelic, Mongolian, Kurdish, Cree, SikSika, etc! All use this basic style of hand drum! Even the Suomi in Scandinavia use one but it's more oval in shape.

There are many different lvls like, begginer simple rhythms, advanced, complex, very sofistikated, then there is high lvl accuracy, few more whatever and then there is THIS, like WTF 🤦🏻♂️ your bpm is not beats per minute but beats per miliseconds, this is far beyond just rhythms, this is fraktal comunication through hearing 🫡 ….. you have some lessons on youtube, from one I succesfully learned some stuff, do you still teach through video chats? What is price please?

Wow! Great performance and great sound. What was the position of the microphones for this recording? I'm having trouble getting a nice framedrum recording. I've been experimenting with two condenser mics, one in front and one at the bac, both at an angle, aiming insid towards the rim, both a bit more than half a meter away. This gave me the best result, but I'm still not happy. The recoding lacks overtones and the ring and sharpness you hear while playing it. Thanx!
