Same here in Bengal. Problem is Central ECI has no staff of its own. They rely on state ECI to conduct Lok Sabha elections. Parties like TMC, YSRCP, DMK etc are know for their infamous institutional capture, poll violence and vote rigging. Hence state ECI is completely subservient to the state government in states like Bengal, Telangana, AP, TN. Central ECI has to have its own independent body which only conducts Lok Sabha election so that they are under the influence of nobody.
Because EC depends on state EC and state EC in states like TN, AP, Telangana and AP are under the control of their respective state governments. There should be repolling done in these states.

Big lapse in Election Process in Andhra Pradesh. YCP Congress is for goons who do such shameless actions. This is a true reflection of a democracy. Why is he still not arrested? When such an incident happened, why did no one complain until this video came out? How many more such incidents have already happened but not been captured on video? Is capturing videos the only way to start an investigation? Isn't it supposed to be proactively done by the Election Commission and local police on the spot?

I am from Vizag. The current MLA, elected three times through rigging, tampered with EVMs at seven polling booths fearing defeat this time. A covert party member exposed one tampered EVM, which is now a local scandal. This is a dire threat to our democracy. The court must disqualify him and ensure he faces jail time, or we will lose faith in the system. Without judicial intervention, these criminals will continue their nefarious activities, especially during vote counting.
