Once i want to memorize some khutbah of jumaa prayer and i came to know that there is not a single khutba recorded in hadith given by muhammad saw and yet they claim it is part of our salah if you talk or miss it you missed your salah or else you destroyed it at that time one thing i more realise that there is no tafsir of quran in the hadith the one who did tafsir they just fit one story which happened or not in muhammad saw times allah knows and make it the tafsir of the aayah. As the time is moving faster quran is also starting to disclosing all its beautiful revelation.

WHEN IS JUMU'AH? The anounce is made the night before: 62:9 -- ...when the announcement is made of the day of [(min) not on the day but of the day] the Jumu'ah salat. Jumu'ah is neither an appointment for a sermon nor a weekly appointment, is a monthly appointment for a congregational salat on the day after the new moon has been seen, on the Ghuduwi salat (69:10- disperse after the salat and seek Allah's bounty. So the day is still young to go back to business) or what the sunni call duha or the salat of sunrise (technically when the sun is high enough for one to cast a shadow, 13:15) : 2:189 --- they ask you about the new moons, say:"they are appointments for gathering of the people (jumu'ah) and for hajj (Arafat)." Plus, the week doesn't exist in the Qur'an. The week is a jew thing copied from babylon for the lunar calendar. Allah made an exception for them on the seventh day (16:124); for us the muslims the Sabbath is every night to rest and worship Allah (SWA): Rest: 25:47/78:9-11. Worship: 73:20/76:26.

O you, who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu’ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave the trade. That is better for you if you only knew.” (Quran, 62: 9) There is so many authentic ahadith which explains how and what to do on a Friday, before the khutbah and after. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon our beloved Muhammed, his noble wives, his noble companions, and his noble family and whoever follow them until the day of judgment. May Allah guide you, pray to Allah to guide you. I feel sorry for you. Whatever you are doing has nothing to do with Islam. This religion had been indeed *preserved* ...and it is *completed* Allah said, *whoever obeyed the messenger has obeyed Allah* .. So, how do we obey the messenger, where is the messenger's speech, commands, works, deeds and so on. You don't find that in the Qur'an couse the Qur'an is the word of Allah. Allah says, Obey Allah and Obey the messenger, if you differ in anything, *refer it back to Allah (Qur'an) and his Messenger* ... Allah says, *On the Day when their faces will be turned over in the Fire, they will say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)* .. I agree with Dr Hani in totality. On the same subject, I asked the same to several local sheikhs or scholars and the answer becomes null and void. I told them that if Jum’ a prayer prayer was obligatory then why not pray four than two Raka’s . If it’s obligatory then why not pray four Raka’s as noon or Dhuhr prayers. No body has an answer for this update. No one can produce an evidence when were we are told not to pray four but two on Jum’a or Friday prayer .

Friday has only 2 rakaa because it has 2 part of khutbah. So 2 + 2 = 4. Which is the same rakaa in zhuhur prayer. This mean the 2 rakaa of the zhuhur's is replace with 2 parts of the khutbah.

I mostly saw the word من associated with "from" and never "after" because "after" means it has a point of event "from" the initial motion has began , in this case the "calling" to assembly are the point where motion starts from , Then "after" that assembly / gathering you spread out in the way of the scripture... I've never seen ANY TRANSLATION that uses من as "after" but I do see some use it as "against" in surah Quraysh , but it still make sense to use "from". I agree with you when you say that there were no friday prayers. Alhamdulillah. And I think you recently stated in your livestream that "يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟" applied also for us.

"من" is well understood by grammarians to mean "after" or "instead", sometimes. Surah Quraysh is a typical example doing that. Just because you have not seen it does not mean that our interpretation is wrong.

Salaamun Alaykum Dr Hany, thanks once again for clarifying about Friday salat; as well as explaining the difference between the two terms"al Mu'minoon" and "Al-Lazeena Aamanoo" and cautioning about its implication on other Ayats, particularly those relating to the subject of Halal and Haram. I was wondering that quite related to this specific distinction between these two terms, Ayat 6 in Surah Al-Ma'idah (Ayat on Wudoo) that also starts with the term "Al-Lazeena Aamanoo" therefore implies that Wudoo has not been prescribed for the "al Mu'minoon" while they offer their Salat (or toil on Qur'an)!

inventing a new mazhab again. I don't take this from a doctor of philoSOPHIA. The last innovator doctor of philoSOPHIA was Dr Rashad Khalifa with his miracle of 19. the traditions go back to the sahabah and Friday prayers were performed by sahabah. The practice of recording Friday sermons only started with Ali in the Nahjul Balagha. The Friday prayers was continuously performed since early Islam. so if Dr Hany thinks he is right, then he answers to Allah, and all his RU-vid videos are the evidence against him in the Court of Allah. this technique is used by christian missionaries - by first CREATING DOUBT, and then ATTACK. Salaam, let me start by saying I am a fan of the channel and am seeking the truth, but from my many past years as a traditional Muslim, I will try and give an answer that traditionalists may possibly give: 1)The Friday sermons were not officially recorded or written/transcribed verbatim at the time they were delivered. Bearing that in mind, I challenge anyone to listen to a sermon, and then recall what they remember of it many years later. One will only remember small key parts only, or key sayings that were repeated regularly in sermons, they will not be able to dictate entire sermons verbatim. What evidence do you have that all or most of the short Hadith about virtues, teachings, morals, manners etc that fill the books of Hadith have not been remembered as excerpts from Friday sermons? Most Hadith narrate: ‘I heard the Rasul ﷺ saying:…..’ and don’t say when or where or how many people were present. Why would the narrator have to say it was during a Friday sermon? The fact that only short sayings of the Rasul ﷺ are narrated show the care taken when narrating to make sure the narrator can remember that exact statement being said. 2)If there was no Friday prayer then all the Hadith about the Friday prayer were fabricated. If someone managed to successfully fabricate and innovate and mass establish this new unknown practice - then why not fabricate sermons also? Or why not fabricate short Hadith (or add to lots of existing Hadith) - ‘I heard the Rasul ﷺ saying during a Friday sermon….’ The fact that this hasn’t happened is actually an evidence against you, a fabricator would have done this - and again, this shows the care taken when gathering the narrations. 3)Regarding Surah 62. You raise good arguments but the fact that the Jumma prayer may not be mentioned explicitly in the Quran doesn’t necessarily mean there is no Jumma prayer. It just means it’s not mentioned in the Quran where medieval tafseer scholars thought it was: there is no Hadith narration of the Rasul ﷺ discussing this Surah and saying it is talking about the Jumma prayer. Again, an evidence against you - if all the Hadith about the Jumma are fabricated, then why not fabricate a Hadith about the Rasul ﷺ referencing this Surah and teaching that it is about the Jumma prayer? 4)The charge of cowardice against Imam Malik and accusing him of nonchalantly watching millions of Muslims carrying out innovations without speaking out against them is a grave one indeed. A lot of the imams of fiqh (including Malik I believe) were persecuted, imprisoned, tortured and beaten for their views. As I said, I am a big fan of your channel and respect your views, but I feel the real problem is the medieval tafseer which actually don’t reference narrations. Regarding the narrations - don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. The narrations about the outward Islamic practices have been passed down en masses by the exact same people who have passed down the Quran to us.
@abubakarahmed5072
@abubakarahmed5072 Год назад
1- The scenario you present is highly implausible. For such an important event as the Ju,mu'a. If it did occur, for all the narrators to completely ignore mentioning it, even in their summaries (if you claim they couldnt possibly remember everything), its extremely implausible. I mean, not one, really? And again, this just highlights the unreliability of relying on hadith as a source of guidance, because it proves that most of the teachings of Muhammad could not have reached us, given the sheer impracticality of recording all his words, as you highlighted. Muhammad (SAW) had scribes. If he intended any such information to reach us, i'm sure he was more than capable of doing that. You ask: "What evidence do you have that all or most of the short Hadith about virtues, teachings, morals, manners etc that fill the books of Hadith have not been remembered as excerpts from Friday sermons?" This is definitely not a reasonable request. You are placing the burden of evidence on the wrong person. And for starters, none of them claim to be. Should you not be asking them to clarify where and when did these narrations come from, to gain a better understanding? Context matters. A lack of context, is in itself suspicious. A lot of the narrations may not include the surrounding circumstances, but at the same time, a lot do. It is, at the very least, extremely suspicious that not a single one would mention the context being a friday sermon. You ask: "Why would the narrator have to say it was during a Friday sermon?" Well one possible reason will be to stress the importance of what is being discussed. If he was saying things in large gatherings, it means what he was discussing was very important and he wanted it to reach the whole community, or to be spread far and wide. Again, context matters. Your characterization of hadith is ignoring the mass of contradictions within the hadith itself, blatant, well established falsehoods, and widespread non-conformance with known Qur'anic teachings and principles. 2- There are several possible scenarios here. Perhaps Friday was a day of gathering. The day before the sabbath for the previous community, as explained in the video, so people may have gathered before the 'off' day. But that gathering may not for prayer as we know it. Maybe it was a day of prayer or sermons for the previous community but not for us. You also present a double sided argument. If the narrations exist, you cite them as proof. If they dont exist, you also cite that as proof. Thats just too convenient. There are a lot of nuances that should be taken into consideration. I'm sure there were limits to what could and could not be done. Maybe it was too difficult to fabricate entire speeches and stay consistent (if he did give such speeches), who knows. Maybe fabricating Friday sermons will be too risky, as there may be many witnesses to attest to the fact that it never happened. Friday sermons would have been witnessed by many hundreds at a time , and naturally, there should be an overwhelming amount of reports from several sources, and at least some of them would have said, I heard such and such in a Friday sermon (even if they are just snippets), which we don't see Or maybe the truth is he just never did give any Friday sermons. Outright fabrication is not the only way to falsify information, manipulation and misinterpretation, omission, outright deletion, and many other techniques could be employed. 3- If its not mentioned in the Qur'an. Well, that certainly tells us what we need to know. Especially if you understand the importance of the Quranic methodology and instructions in the Qur'an. You are, by implication, placing the Hadith on equal footing with the Qur'an as indispensable, a foundational book for guidance. Meaning Allah forgot, or neglected to mention certain things in a book he tells us is complete, and left us to rely on made made narrations which may be right or wrong. And by the way, there are virtually no direct reports of Muhammad explaining the ayaat of the Qur'an extensively. There is no tafseer of Muhammad. Another thing to think about 4. I dont know about Imam Malik, so i'll skip this one. The Hadith has not been thrown out with the bathwater. But they have to be sifted through with established truth from the Qur'an. I will rather advise to not lean on the hadith as a primary source of guidance. Most importantly, regardless of everything, we have the Qur'an as the ultimate source of guidance, and Allah instructs us using his book, on what to do, and what not to do. Your last comment appears to be comparing the preservation of the Qur'an with the preservation of the hadith, when you say: "The narrations about the outward Islamic practices have been passed down en masses by the exact same people who have passed down the Quran to us.." Allah gave a guarantee to preserve the Qur'an. Can you say the same for Hadith? The Qur'an was recorded and widely memorized verbatim (which include all the diacritical marks by way of recitation) during the life of Muhammad (SAW). Can you say the same for hadith? Can you even say the hadith were passed down verbatim? Can show me aayat of the Qur'an passed down by classification of authenticity? There is simply no comparison here. Regards

@@abubakarahmed5072 Fair enough. You raise some interesting points. It’s also worth noting that when it comes to the madhabs and outward practice - it is not just Hadith that they are based on, but also the mass practice of the people of an area who had learned from the companions. A Hadith is a narration from usually one companion. But observing thousands of students of the companions all agreeing and doing something is effectively a thousand Hadith even though they haven’t been formally narrated. I don’t recall any Hadith outlining which prayers are totally silent and which prayers are half silent etc but all the people of Madina at the time of Malik were praying the same way and they were all the generation after the sahaba. So this practice was effectively a mass transmitted Hadith. Same with Abu Hanifa in Kufa. All the Kufans were praying the same way as they had learned from Ibn Masud (who practically lived in the house of the Rasul ﷺ )and his students the generation before and Abu Hanifa documented it and took their mass practice as mass Hadith. The same could be said for the Jumma. All the people from these places who were the generation after and students of high ranking companions were offering Jumma in a certain way and this was taken as a mass Hadith of practice. There is a narration: ‘Pray as you have SEEN me pray’ People prayed by seeing and learning, not from writing it down in books. That came much later. Hadith were collected 200 years after Muhammad ﷺ. What were the Muslims using for their outward practice before this? They were learning from people and observing from people who had learnt from the companions. This is how it was taught to me anyway, but I wasn’t there and don’t know for sure. I also can’t help feeling that there is an element of ‘following your desires’ involved here. I feel as if the Dr above stated with Quranic proof that there are actually 10 long ritual prayers a day and they have to be prayed in congregation and the night prayer after sleep is compulsory also - that people would be less willing to accept. But when leaving ritual acts that people may find difficult is involved, people rush to want to believe it. I am intrigued by the tafseer methodolgy on this channel and respect it, but I notice a lot of comments with people asking the Dr about the 5 prayers now and whether they are true or not (again, secretly wanting to abandon them out of laziness and following desires). Why are they asking him anyway? Isn’t that making him an intermediary according to his own definition? Allah knows best

@ellaella9832 Год назад
@@seek_Al_Haq Taking someone as an intermediary is considered associating partners with Allah, which is shirk. The lectures of Dr. Hany teach the methodology from within the Quran for understanding the real meaning of the ayats, and he always emphasizes the establishment of a direct connection with Allah alone. In one of his lectures, he discussed how shirk can cause someone to lose their connection to Allah. Therefore, your claim of taking Dr. Hany as an intermediary does not hold water. Beloved Muhammad pbuh had many roles during his time. He was a prophet to the Bani Israil or to all the alladhina amanu, demonstrated the correct actions (since the original Torah was lost during that time), to prove that he knew the law of the Torah, was also a military leader, and most importantly, he was a messenger to all, who delivered the message/Quran verbatim. If you reflect on it, there was a period of transition. First, he proved to the Bani Israil that he was a Nabi to them, and then he invited them to believe in the Quran. As believers, we, who are not from the Bani Israil or the alladhina amanu, should not follow the prophethood ways, we follow the direct message addressed to the believers. It's important to differentiate between a Nabi/prophet and a messenger/rasul as they are two different things. That is why there are ayats addressed to the alladhina amanu, the believers of the previous scripture Torah, and the believers of the Quran. We, as readers and believers of the Quran, should identify whether the acts or practices are addressed to alladhina amanu or to the almuminun. Or identify which role beloved Muhammad pbuh in the ayats, was he a nabi or a rasul in the ayats.

@@seek_Al_Haq Thanks for the reply. In my view, from an objective look at all the sources, including the scenario you present, there appears to be some element of freedom given to the individual regarding Salaat. However, we now have sects that impose their way of prayer, sometimes forcefully, on the masses. The fact that the Qur'an does not prescribe a specific form, in my view, speaks volumes. I am a firm believer in the completeness of the Qur'an, because Allah says it is. The consequences of this may be uncomfortable for those of us that have come to depend on outside sources for foundational guidance. Muslims consider Salaat to be perhaps the most important thing, and yet claim that its details cannot be found in the Qur'an. I disagree with this view, as it violates the principle of the completeness of the Qur'an. I agree that some people tend to follow their desires. But being consistent, and engaging the Qur'an in the proper way, and seeking Allahs help wil,l insha Allah, help us keep that in check. From my experience, Dr. Hany does not guide or instruct people on how to do Salaat. He just teaches personal engagement of the Qur'an I have my own views on Salaat (which I will keep to myself). But one thing is for sure, ever since i've turned to the Qur'an exclusively for guidance, my Salaat sessions are generally much longer, in many ways more tasking, but much more fulfilling. Regards.

@@abubakarahmed5072 It’s all just so confusing. Can see strong points from all angles. Feel like this is beginning to impact my health. I’ve learnt to respect all views now as I myself have changed my views on so many things through my life. I’ve always said: their is no such thing as Islam - only HISlam, or HERLam or THEIRLam, or MYLam based on my own nafs - which can also be a false god/intermediary to Allah (Surah 25:43) It is all about interpretation. So the question is WHOSLam are we supposed to follow? Everyone claims to follow the Quran and intends to follow the Quran. The only difference is how they interpret it and whose understanding they choose to adopt. But I do love a lot of the content on this channel - especially the part about the non-virgin natural birth of Jesus - which had always troubled me.

Salaamun Alaykum Dr. Hany, Suban' Allahh, Allahh swt clearly explained in the Quran that there is no Jummah prayer and no sermons. And salat has an entirely different thing than what we are practicing, like a workout. And imams, sheikhs, and mullahs give lengthy khutbahs and lead big jamaats on Fridays. All are genuinely artificial practices, and we follow a newly invented religion in the name of Allahh and his messenger. These khutbah givers have different rates. They charge money to give Khutba on Fridays. The one who screams and concocts more lies charges more money. Many scholars spend years studying hadith, fiqh, seerah, and you name it, but no one noticed why we don't have Friday sermons from our beloved SAWS. After becoming an Imam and a sheikh, they become better liars than speaking the truth. People are blindly following them and becoming obedient followers of them. But they are not realizing that their khutbahs are not benefiting anyone; people are just filling the mosque in the name of prayers and not learning any good; how come they help any good when they are not obeying Allahh alone. May Allahh swt guide us all to follow his true religion? Thank you so much, Dr. Hany. May Allahh reward you immensely!
