Of course I remembered when Disney purchased lucasfilm and Star Wars, and when I found this video I thought this was a good one. Making fun of the whole process. This at 0:11, when I first saw this video had cracked me up
I remember back in 2012 I think it was from October of 2012, when I found out that Disney was purchasing lucasfilm and Star Wars. The truth is at that time I was hoping if I want to join Walt Disney imagineering, I wanted to make some new Star Tours sequels. After when they redid Star Tours or rebooted Star Tours, starting from 2011. I even thought of creating a Star Wars land at the time, and I've always thought that Disney and George Lucas and even hopefully lucasfilm would join forces again. And originally I thought of animated Star Wars movies and TV shows, that would only be Disney produce and lucasfilm properties. Then in October of 2012, when I found out that Disney was purchasing lucasfilm and Star Wars. It was something I never expected right away, but I went crazy I thought that my dreams had come true. That Disney wouldn't have to join forces with George Lucas or even lucasfilm. Some people hated the new changes that Disney had or Star Wars, but I don't care what they say. I'm a hardcore Star Wars fan, and now I'm happy that the new Star Wars sequel Trilogy is finally completed. Also Walt Disney imagineering have work so hard, and now Star Wars Galaxy's Edge is completed as well. I experienced it myself at Disneyland, and I loved it. Although Walt Disney once said Disneyland will never be complete as long as there is Imagination left in the world, so for Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. There is impossibilities that the area will have some changes as well, I believe it will still look like in its original format. But I do believe that there will be special events changing the story, and that the area is supposed to take place in a another planet called batuu. I believe Walt Disney imagineering we'll work on some special events projects for Star Wars Galaxy's Edge at both Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios, where the events will have the story to change probably three times a year. I believe what the fans of the prequel trilogy, I will be probably an event based on the Star Wars prequel trilogy. With the characters from the movie genre, to make their appearances in the area. For the big fans of the original Star Wars trilogy, I believe there will be special events for Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. Based on that movie genre or should I say Saga, where the original Star Wars Trilogy characters will make their appearances, and of course I believe there will be special events based on the Star Wars sequel trilogy. With the same old characters, to make their appearances from that Saga in Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, like what they have been doing since opening day. I also hope to get lucky to see, maybe the Jawas and the Ewoks, in one of those events. At Star Wars Galaxy's Edge, and I hope they'll update rise of the resistance, so maybe the ride to change into three different Star Wars battle styles. of course that would have to require reprogramming the special effects, and a few of the animatronics, and as well as the cast members costumes. I hope that is Rise of the resistance changes along with the Galaxy's Edge events three times a year, I hope that we will get to get captured by the Trade Federation. and going to one of their control ships, and of course escaped from them, that idea face around the prequel trilogy. and another one where we get captured by the Galactic Empire, and hopefully we go into a Death Star and escaped as well. and for that idea to be based on the original Star Wars trilogy. And of course we would have to have the original rise of the resistance attraction itself, to be part of the Star Wars prequel trilogy events of Star Wars Galaxy's Edge. I hope Walt Disney imagineering knows about this or has plans, and I hope they will become realities very soon. Because Star Wars Galaxy's Edge deserves three different changes as special events, in order to live out a Star Wars story that doesn't just take place during the Star Wars sequel trilogy. So I hope we'll get to live out Star Wars story and adventure, that will take place during the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy

Both opinions are equally valid, and no one can say objectively that the movie was or wasn't good (no matter what the "general consensus" is). I can dislike the movie but still respect that you and others liked it.
