I remember someone on Miiverse posting a concept exactly like this. What brilliant ideas! Did you see his post as well, or was this a coincidence? I think Nintendo really should poke fun at Hotel Mario at some point. Maybe even have a Costume Mario form based on his appearance in Hotel Mario? He could hold up some of Bowser's Sourpuss Bread when you hold up on the Control Pad!

I'm looking forward to the sequel on the CD-I Switch!

This is amazing. It is actually what inspired me to do my Hotel Mario Odyssey trailer long ago... and probably all the other ones who copied my Hotel Mario Odyssey idea. But this is the original masterpiece. Thank you for this!
