The inspectors at the University of Nothingham are weird. I once had one ask me how many legs they had.

I used Chroma Key in Sony Vegas just like you did. I think you set something way too high though; you'll notice in the effect window there are three sliders, "Low Threshold", "High Threshold", and "Chroma Blur". You want to use a tiny bit of Low Threshold with some Chroma Blur to soften the edges. Sliding any of them over all the way is bound to remove some of Michael, so you don't want to do that. As for how I changed the color on Michael's shirt, I had to install a set of Vegas effects called "NewBlue FX", and use one called "NewBlue V2 Color Swap", which does exactly as it sounds. It kinda works like Chroma Key as well though, in that if you use too much you can cover the entire screen with the color. I might make a video on this later. :P
