I'd be remiss if I didn't express my condolences for the family and friends of Grant Imahara here. For many of us he was a fun TV show host, but even through that narrow lens his bright personality, dedication to his craft, and infectious positivity gave us all a reason to smile. I wish I had the honor to meet the man in person. It's strange to say given the tongue-in-cheek nature of YTP but I have nothing but respect for Grant and wish his colleagues and loved ones peace and solace.
I'm not alone when I say I immediately thought of this video since its the only ytp with Grant in it I can think of right now. I can tell that this vid was never critical of him, and that it was a tastefully done parody with Grant in it. Thank you for reaching out to your fans, stay safe, give your loved ones a hug or a call.
He was one of the best men's in the history of humanity. Im very proud to know i live on a planet with Grant Imaharaahhhahqhqraqa. He is a legend and very inspiring. Even if i never see him in real time. But i still have feelings like he is my good old friend.
"Women have better men, that they notice all the men, that women notice all the better women, and men notice all the observation skills. Women don't. The women notice all the skills, and women notice Eminem, and men don't." "A"
Patrick Hodson Great Carrie, but what's that got to with testing myths? And, you went to college to test myths? Well, my best friend has to do rock climbing trust exercises, and she's in college.
"Women have better men, that they notice all the men. The women notice all the better women and men notice all the observation skills women don't. The women notice all the skills, and women notice Eminem and men don't." - Kari Rary
@This Guy Maybe it wasn't good *to you...* But quite a few others enjoyed it... Enough that Playtonic considered it a good enough investment to develop a spinoff...
Every once in a while, during quiet moments, the phrase “Give me the fulminated mercury” floats across my mind, and it makes me laugh like a toddler. Thanks, Dathings. :-)
_The Mythsters_ Starring: Sadam Avage "I'm done with scics for today" Jamie Heinie "Way to go there, buddy" Arahamahara "swag swag swag" Torichi "I'll try not to lel" and Karyrary "Yeah, I went to college"
I don't know what it says about me that my first instinct when I learned about Grant's passing was to come to this parody video from 7 years ago. Nothing but well wishes to his loved ones right now.
Thought I'd stop by this video again to pay respects to Grant Imahara (or Arahamahara in the video). Today (July 14th 2020) he died following a brain aneurysm, at age 49. Rest easy buddy, you were a source of many "woah! cool!" moments on the show. (edit: punctuation)
"Women have better men, that they notice all the men, then women notice all the better women, and men notice all the observation skills women don't, then women notice all the skills, and women notice Eminem, and men don't." *"Aa-"*
this video has had such a genuine impact on my life, i’m still quoting it almost a decade later. thank you dathings1. and thank you mr. hammahara i miss you dearly
I only knew Arahamahara died about a month after he did, and I think I sobbed when I found out because The Mythsters was my comfort show back when I was a little kid. At least I went to Cain and Brandy Lie and saw Sadam Avage live on stage with Vichael from Me-Sauce. Rest in Peace.
