A user by the name of The Sound Crafter Company AUTTP has made a neat remake of this video's melody. Check it out here and give it some love: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MGDi2YXED74.html
i watched it, it was good it removed my headache. the lump in my head, the blade of a knife in there, the veins bursting, the skull squeezing my head, all of thats now gone
I was not expecting this from you at all buddy, but you nailed Telstar Logistics style of YTPMV perfectly! Definitely one of my favourites for the collab!
@@soft_lex3820 I started this channel when I was still at school, and I've since been to two colleges and had three different jobs. Time has certainly gone by quick!
MAaaan dude you killed it!! You should be damn proud of yourself!! You are and always will remain one of the greatest rosen ytpers and nothing or anyone can change that.
This will be the only headache I’ve had that I loved because of this Thank you I’ll watch this every time I have a headache to remember that this is one of the best entries I’ve ever seen
My reaction after watching this: 1:38 Nahh, I loved it from start to finish, from the gradual build of voices to the simulated drops throughout. You deserve every single one of these likes
I know I’m late, but this is kickass. I saw it in the collab, but this is my first time coming to the actual video. Amazing work, you totally got the Telstar vibe down!
Nice... really nice . Why did all the michael rosen ytpers got inactive? Most of them stop making videos. But you are the special one who does the job of lots of them. What can a human being achieve from his own interest is the limit of the plamzjoker's imagination. Motivated by how much you care for your videos and entertaining others therefore.
A lot of the popular guys eventually get tired of making them, especially after going for several years. Others get too busy or just quit altogether, but I personally intend to never truly leave. I may be inactive for long periods of time with a lack of motivation or other things keeping me occupied, but I'll always be around!
I've been meaning to make a video for Michael's birthday every year since 2013 and miss the deadline. Glad some people don't forget. Great job as always.
Hearing this for the first time, I genuinely thought it was something from Telstar. And now, I guess fittingly enough considering the context of the song this has been stuck in my head for like a week.
Hey man, hope this reaches you - can you send me a message? It's in regards to the updating of the wiki, but RU-vid seems to have mucked up the messaging system these days so I can't seem to find the function any longer. This is *click* noice, by the way, very groovy.
Hey mate! RU-vid unfortunately removed the messaging feature about a year ago, and you were actually the main example I brought up of people I couldn't reach any other way. I'm glad you got in touch here because I wouldn't have been able to contact you otherwise, and it's the main reason why I suggested you get back on that old Twitter account! About the wiki, I may not be able to start editing it straight away as I've been extremely busy lately, but once I actually watch through your videos and catch up with the story, I'll let you know and I'll start editing to see what I can add. Cheers for checking out this video, too! :D
@@ThePlamzJoker Sounds good to me. I haven't been able to log into my Twitter so that's a shame, but I'll see what I can do. There will be some more live chats in the near future, too, and else the message function on the wiki itself may work.
@@CaptainPlums Excellent, looking forward to more from you as always! I hope you get that Twitter account back or start a new one, but aside from that I expect the message section of that wiki to be a place to contact you again. I'm honoured to be helping you out :D
This is the closest thing we'll get to Telstar returning, and I love it! I hope other people will make stuff like this based on Telstar's work, this was awesome 👍
I've been one of his biggest fans and I always hoped he'd come back and make a new YTPMV like this. I've often had the occasion where I'd listen to all of them in a row and wondered what a brand new one might sound like - I tried my best to accurately predict what it might have been. Perhaps he shall return one day, but until then let's hope we do indeed get more like this from others!
Lol my girlfriend, who is squeamish about veins and shit, was just looking super uncomfortable while Michael repeatedly said “VEINS... BURSTING.” Either way, love the YTPMV style! Just checked out the style it’s based off, really original stuff! Do you do your YTPMV stuff in Vegas? I find it’s a nightmare to do myself, hard to stay in time with it not being music software and all haha.
Thanks mate, good to see you again! It is indeed made with Vegas, but you have to turn off the "Quantize to frames" option and use grouped chunks of the melody to keep in time, as well as a metronome if needed.
this has literally become a yearly thing for me now haha, how have you been the past year or so? Gotten up to much editing? Regardless, hope you're doing goods out in the world.
Hey man, since you haven't been active on twitter I just want to ask, how's life? Your channel is nearly 10 years old (bit of a straight up question but whatever, run with it lmao)
Do you think you’ll have time to make some sort of entry to the 10 year anniversary of the Michael Rosen birthday Collab? ( I know the time has passed to quickly already ), I understand you have work that you have to do throughout, idk probably til early next year maybe (good luck with that anyway, I hope everything goes well :) ).
I can't believe it's been that long already! The fact that it would mark ten years since the first birthday collab makes me really want to be a part of it, but as of right now I'm just not so sure. I hope I can be free to return again by next year, because I hate the fact that I've been gone all this time. Thanks for the support and remembering me, haha
From what I can make of it during my absence, it does seem that the community as a whole are much less active these days. I hope that someday in the future, when I return, I can help to bring that community back!
@@ThePlamzJoker I hope you do honestly. The only Rosen YTPer who still uploads that I know of is CaptainPlums and it’s sad to see this amazing community mostly fade.
@@absurdcheesecake I do find it really strange how CaptainPlums was once a channel that most people considered gone for good, and now suddenly while everyone else has faded away, he's uploading like crazy! Things do seem really upside down, but I'm hoping for a brighter future with more familiar old names getting involved again.
@@ThePlamzJoker Yeah it's a shame to see this scene slowly fading. I think you returning could mix things up again just enough to inspire others aswell :)
Not from me, I'm afraid - I'm still much too busy to return for now. The birthday collab is very much still happening, though, so be sure to check that out when it's released!
@@ThePlamzJoker It's a pity I didn't see this comment earlier, but another year has passed without Tomato 4 [for want of a better term]. I was in early high school when "the party to end all parties" released 7 years ago; now I've been in university for 2 years! I hope it's worth the wait.
How do you do a thing like this? (Full respect btw.) I’ve got Premiere Elements 11 and the only way I can get the pitch shift to work is to do it in Audacity, then manually match the audio back on to the video. If I had tried to do something like this that way it would have taken me all year.
I don't use Premiere so I wouldn't be able to help you with that, but I can assure you that it's easier than it looks in Vegas, when you know how to do it.
I just looked up some sources, and gosh, you're right. I had no idea that even happened, but I guess there's quite a bit of backstory told in recent years that I could read about. Here's to Brian Harrison and his character as a child being immortalised in Michael's stories!
Nope, the melody is completely original and improvised! The only part that is loosely based on any song is the yellow part from 2:19 to 2:25, which was slightly inspired by "Don't Stop The Rock" by Freestyle, but aside from that it's an entirely original composition.
Yes, actually! My Vegas projects become very slow and unstable when I have a lot of clips in certain tracks, and often a YTPMV will cause exactly that. It gets to the point where you have to wait an extremely long time to either paste a copied clip or add imported media to the timeline. In fact I had to do the solo part of this video in a separate project and copy it back in, because it was too slow to work with.
