That was the point of their campaign, "Keep it Weird." It told us kids back then that being weird was normal, and not to be ashamed of it. It was a part of who we were. The late 2000's spoiled you and several others into believing that modern days should be boring and lackluster. Which is why many people in my age group stopped watching YTV around 2007, when things were "modernized" to be ""hip and cool"", except it failed.
