YTV's chevron logo designer passes away - 26/2/24 

Before the launch of Yorkshire Television back in 1968, a competition was held to design a logo, resulting in the famous yellow 'chevron'. The winner, Rex Ripley, has sadly passed away in his nineties, as announced here on the ITV Yorkshire local news.
