One of the favorites to win X30 Senior last year in Las Vegas was Dante Yu, the rookie senior driver for Compkart. Yu had his work cut out for him entering the 25-lap final in Las Vegas, starting mid-pack after some issues through the heats. The Californian tried to hold his line around the outside of the very tight turn 3, but clipped the wheel of Australian David Sera.
After the kart settled upside down, Yu jumped out, turned the kart over, and drove away. In person, you could hear the crowd from the grand stands erupt in cheer as the engine turned on and the kart left the scene.
