U got me there hahaha. I have watched this duel so many times 'cause I think it is one of the best in all Arc V. And I love the combination of sychro and fusion monstes. Hate Sergey but still love immortals. Haha.
@@darkpaw1522 I received the notification kf your comment and I immediately went to edopro to see if the cards finally were there and yeah, there they are already. Thanks jaja
Damn soul fist is broken as fuck! If it's searchable by vision resonator and drops the foe's monster to 0 attack and all monsters destroyed gives the wielder all their original attack it's perfect for OTKing! More broken than the last card revealed this week!
👍🏾 Yes! Such a Great idea, making them their own Seperate Archetype that can work with them if they called for an “Earthbound” Monster. I wouldn’t mind seeing a Tag Team Duel featuring them :)
*0:28**-TED LEWIS(Jack) VS MARC THOMPSON!(Sergey)* *0:41**-Jack's Synchro Theme from 5Ds! It ALWAYS impresses me!* 1:04-I HAVE that Card! :) 17:59-Jack SAVED Sergey! 18:52-Please... Heart of the cards..., guide him! Jack Atlas is my FAVORITE character Ted Lewis has voiced! :D
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I really liked Sergey. Something about a tragic character who is forcefully infused with arguably the darkest archetype in the series
@@arafathossain9400 in ARC-V, the protagonist went to the Synchro Universe, where Zero Reverse never happened. Ergo, not Dark Signers or Yliaster. Which would also mean Jack and Crow also lived normal lives.
I thought that was a weird decision, but wondered if it was supposed to make Jack sound “posh”, especially since he was from the poor Satellite trying to make it in the richer New Domino City.
@@lunamelody2025 Ted Lewis is unchanged as Jack's VA. Crow's on the other hand went back to his first voice actor. IIRC it changed during Season 2 of 5D's.
The cards to print are: Earthbound Rescue (spell), Earthbound Tundra (field spell), Soul Fist (spell), Earthbound Beginnings (trap), Red Gem (trap) and Red Soul (trap)
Honestly as cool as the duel was the anime logic can drive me nuts. You mean to tell me Sergei’s programming got busted because Jack made the actual best choice which was keeping scarlight around cause this is a game of resources? Which leads to the next question. Is every duelist in any yugioh universe or timeline determining who is winning by life points alone and not what resources they have to use to fight?
Sergei's programming got busted not because of Jack doing the optimal Choice, but by staying true to his belief and not wavering. Sergei was titled "The Duelist Crusher", before Roger and the Security Forces got him and made him into an obedient Cyborg. The ways in which Roger's programming affected his dueling went completely against his nature to destroy Duelists with brute Force at their peak, giving them a false Sense of Security and making their downfall even worse. Jack's Choices remembered him of his past Duels and his own Determination, as Jack is also a Duelist that often uses raw Power to dominate and crush his Opponents. Sergei Volkov was not a good Person, but an honorable Duelist in the end.
Wait, so, one of the duelists literally turns INTO their bike and the match isn't cancelled? That's like if someone in the Indy 500 just merged with their car to become a mega cyborg but the race kept going like normal, like, why? It's not even a test of pure skill anymore, and that person clearly needs serious medical attention.
Duels only get stopped if you fall off your bike and can't finish, to protect Mary Sue Yusei's unbeaten record. They don't get stopped if you merge with your bike, because you can still "ride". Hell, Jack crashed the hell out of his and walked it to the line, but they let the match continue in the tournament, but god forbid Yusei lose his match against Kalin, or Akiza get a single victory against team Unicorn.
Interestingly enough, Sergey's method of fusing with their duel runner makes more sense than Illiaster's, and I say that as an avid lover of 5D's, 2nd half included.
Yeah Arc V should get spin off A prequel of The xyz dimension war for example And for jack An exploration of the lore of this dimension because the earthbound immortals and the signer dragons seems to exist A universe where instead of yusei Jack is the main lead
@@santinoaguilar8601 Sounds like the Arc V Jack was able to defeat a dark signer man by himself compared to Yugio 5ds, it took all 5 members of the team to take down Dark Signers. Arc V Jack is not even using any Crimson Dragon for help. Sergey is a man with a Dark Signer powers and Jack defeated him solo.
@@chemicalboy1084 action cards are suppose help it doesn't matter if I mess it or catch it action cards supposed to give you opportunity to win thats what is made also try to remember he's battle with Selena and how it end up
@@YoshiElder are you kidding? Her Bloom Diva can even take down Scarlight Red Dragon Archfiend with its battle reverse abilities to destroy a special summoned monster stronger than her and as the cherry on top Jack would be taking the damage not Zuzu.
@@YoshiElder she only did so that she could get rid of all her monsters that were bound by thorn counters cos if any of those were still on her field at the end of her turn she’d be taking damage that would be doubled from Sergey’s thorn grove trap. What she didn’t count on though was Sergey summoning Thorn Overserver Vandarlizuma to turn the tables in his favour otherwise she would have summoned Bloom Diva.
I genuinely think that the thought process started with the Earthbound Immortals, but they couldn't make them good without a permanent field spell. Then, in figuring out how to build a season around a permanent field spell, they ended up with 5D's, turbo duels, and Speed World, because the OG Earthbound Immortals are only good if there is a permanent field spell that can't be interacted with.
