Blackwings have always been my main boys ever since the 5ds era and seeing this video is making me want to retune my whole deck again with all the support that went into Blackwings. Such a nice video dude

Not sure if anyone has said it but you can't chainblock with Nothung effect on summon because it's a mandatory trigger effect and because of that it has to be activated before any optional trigger effects, like Shamal GY effect or Dark Feather Whirlwind.
Don't forget that some of your effects self burns so in game 3 you can summon Black winged dragon first (for combo 2 specially) so zephiros shamal and sudri don't burn you
Very true! It would only work for combo 2 because we can afford to go into Vata early. The other combo allowed you to go into Vata (locking you into dark) after you make Crimson Dragon first. Thanks for the comment!
I play blackwing i didn't think to play it like that, and yes, i would like to see some test hand, would help me if i decide to make a move on my blackwing deck like yours, to be more synchro than pure blackwings like i have right now
The chain block comes in on feather whirlwind you chain block it with shimal to add back to hand so chain link 1 nothung link 2 feather whirlwind (the most seceptible) link 3 shimal the block unless they have a SET imperm and it's in whirlwinds column

I have a questjon though, I know you have pot of prosperity in their. Do you normally banish 6 cards from the extra or 3? Cause I dee therecis a lot of good synchros to keep
Great question! So i typically will prosperity for 6, but its the dealers choice! Its funny because out of the 15 extra monsters, you have EXACTLY 6 that you can afford to banish if you are sticking to the Calamity lock route.Those cards are Baronne, Hot Red, Draco Berserker, Raikiri, Stardust Dragon, and Full Armor Master. Something that you have to be aware of is that if you get rid of Stardust, you won't be protected if Accel Synchro gets hit during the combo. Appreciate your kind words!! Glad you asked! I was also considering running Superheavy Samurai Brave Masurawo instead. It can attack in defense and has 4k def. Also, if your opponent activates a spell/trap, you can draw till you have 3 cards in hand, not bad 💯

@Hotshotfrontier it severely limits the monster effect use to 3 times at 7200 taking nothung into account at 2100 burn that's 3 monster effects before it burns the opponent to death (figuratively)
Protecting cards like Black Whirlwind is so cruel, especially in the late grind game. Would be cool to have like a banish from grave effect or "when this card is in effect, your Black Whirlwind can't be destroyed on field"
Yes, it's Sudri's eff that allows you to normal summon again. It does lock you into dark monsters, so you can't go into the Calamity combo, but your end board is still strong. Appreciate the question 👍🏽
@@Hotshotfrontier It sounds like you might be thinking of Simoon the Poison Wind? Looking at the effects, Simoon's got the black whirlwind/free normal summon and Sudri is just the search on summon/token tuner effect. So summoning Sudri a second time in the combo wouldn't be possible (unless I'm tripping lol)
@matthewsaxon3038 My bad, yes I was talking about Simoon for some reason 😂, but to answer your question, no, it's not Sudri's eff that allows this, but Nothung. It let's you normal summon for a third time, allowing Sudri to trigger again.

Nice first combo, never think about it. The second combo is a little bit underwhelming. With Simoon + another BW you normally end on 3×Assault Dragon+Hot red Dragon archfiend abyss+Dispater+Twin shadow for Full armor Master or Silverwind
Combo 2 isn't the worst board, but it's still really strong against a lot of decks currently. I will say that after testing, I would switch out Raikiri out for Silverwind. Appreciate the comment!
@@averylewis5623 yeah for sure: the first steps are the same: Simoon --> Sudri --> Shamal and Vata. Effect shamal for feather, summon Vata with effect to send zephyros and chinook for Blackwinged dragon trigger feather to reborn vata. Then effect zephyros im GY bounce Feather to summon. The effect sudri, tribute simoon for the Token. Then synchrosummon sudri + Token for Nothung, shamal readd Sudri from the GY. Extra normal summon because of Nothung for sudri, search oroshi and twinshadow. Then vata and nothung synchro for another blackwinged dragon, feather to reborn vata. Then synchro vata and Sudri for Boreastorm, boreostorm send sharnga. Then synchro into dis pater with BWDragon and Boreastorm. Summon oroshi from Hand, end synchro into HRDA with BWDragon. Then summon Assault dragon by banishing Borea and BWDragon from the GY. Then Effect Dis Pater to reborn the banished Boreastorm. The second Assault dragon with Boreastorm and Zephyros, and the third by banishing Boreastorm and BWDragon again. Set Twin shadow. End Board: DisPater, HRDA, 3 Assault dragon and twin shadow (+sharnga in GY for another pop). I hope you unterstand the Combo. After a lot of practizing is not that difficult :D
You can achieve both, but you would have to reuse Black Winged Dragon to make the other. Dis Pater needs BWD + lv 2 tuner and Red needs BWD + lv 1 tuner to work. Worst case, if you have the materials to do it, you could also make Pater with Stardust dragon replacing BWD
How are you reusing the BWD, though, since you can't resummon it? Are you hard making a second one with tuner and non tuner? I just don't see how Simoon alone (and random BW for cost) gets you there for both those synchros plus 3 BWAD without using Twin Shadow. @@Hotshotfrontier
