Mr.Farfa if the series is called stealing only I vote that you should only be able to obtain cards you steal from opponents after a victory.

Cool concept but it would be more entertaining if it was just steal instead of pulling master packs and screats packs. Right now it just feels like watching Maso with training wheels.

honestly the meme about the wheel makes this more of a feels bad than masochist. my recommendation, steal any card but it must have been activated/summoned during the duel. that should be enough to make the experience more enjoyable to go through.

I really enjoyed this first episode, your gameplay and commentary were very entertaining! I do agree with other commenters that opening packs feels against the spirit of a series called “Stealing Only”, but without opening packs it is difficult to get Crafting Pts to steal cards so it’s whatever for me… I had an idea for an alternative way to add cards to your collection without opening packs though: when you defeat an opponent, *you* get to select 5 cards you’d like from your opponent’s deck, then *chat* has to vote on one of the cards that you can craft! Kinda like the card “Painful Choice” since we’re keeping this YuGiOh themed~

Removing the packs and stealing one card for each rarity would be more on theme I think

you could make the wild card just any card from your opponent's deck, or a random card from your opponent's deck if you wanted to include that on your wheel

How is it stealing only if you still open packs? I would have expected it to be „whenever I win, craft a card from my opponent’s deck“ (and only that)

I think if you're gonna call it "stealing only", then it should be stealing only. Maybe replace the master pack with a steal, but you can only steal cards that were actually stolen from your opponent in-game. Craft a copy of Exchange and a copy of Change of Heart, and steal everything you can.

This series has me hooked already, gonna be a cult classic like Rare Hunters (APS)

So its masochist... But you start with a structure deck, get an additional themed pack after every win, and potentially a staple based on what your opponent is playing

This series is AMAZING! I like it so far ngl, I thought I would see Change of Heart in the video with that title lol

Really fun series idea but I wish there was more stealing. Maybe packs are based on what you play against? Play against Salad and can open the Salad pack. If it's just a pile of garbage then open a master pack.

I think just stealing and not opening any packs would be much better and more interesting than masochist.

I like this idea! It would be funnier to go full force with the playground idea and dismantle a card when you lose (based on what you roll). Maybe your streaming audience can donate to "buy packs" or "purchase singles" like a parent would?

I like this new type of series! We might still be playing underpowered, but the steals can be nice progression as our deck gets stronger.

This is a very good concept, gonna enjoy seeing more of this.

Ante rules with the occasional packs sounds legit (they wont happen as often in higher ranks) , but you also need to lose cards upon defeat

Why calling it stealing when stealing is the least you do?

He should steal if he wins open packs if he loses because this currently feels like a weak man's masochist

Got really bored last night and came up with an amusing alternative -Start with one structure deck -Every win open one Master Pack -Must dismantle every card obtained that does not allow you to steal cards -Allowed to craft any card that allows the stealing of opponents cards -If a card is stolen, after that duel you can craft that card (Bonus; card must be crafted after that duel or is lost) -Semi balanced around scarce dust (I.E. if you somehow get a ur craft, you could use it on Change of Heart, but if you then steal a UR you no longer have the dust to craft it) -Legacy Tickets are banned -Bonus memes: To be able to craft a card you have to either win with it in your possession OR surrender while you possess the card (You are literally taking the card and running) -Maybe keep royals from Master packs?

Schoolyard stealing was one kid playing change of heart or monster reborn, putting it in their graveyard and walking off with it after the game. This format should require you to dust all your packs, instead you can craft anything you take from your opponent.

Stealing only: Proceeds to do 2 pulls after each game and steals dogshit cards :) And yes I know you rank up the most at the beginning and it will be less absurd later on but I think Stealing ONLY should consist of ONLY stealing cards.

I thought this was going to literally be stealing, like with the newly released snatch steal, exchange, etc. and you add every card you’ve ‘stolen’ in game to your deck… might be fun for a second series

I like this more than the nuzlock. Maybe boost the packs to 5 packs of each, this way you're not guaranteed a rarity, but you do get more opportunities to change your deck and add different styles and small engines. Overall this series looks really good, and I want it to continue.

I think it would be cool if instead of a master pack you would open a pack from a secret pack of your choicing that you unlocked from stealing throughout the episode or a secret pack available through a SR/UR card in your last opponent deck you beat

Don’t know if you can do this with the wheel, but if you want to add a “wild card” then make it a much smaller chance of happening like 5% or something

Im with the comment section.. Its basically Masochist but slightly different. My take/change for this Series would be: only stealing cards via effects would get you to "collect" cards.

I thought this was going to be how high up the ladder can you get with a deck built around only stealing cards. Still fun though

this is very nice. i hate watching masochist sometimes because there are a LOT of episodes where literally nothing happens at all

Ive always thought that masochist is a great baseline but that adding extra rules makes it a lot more interesting for the person actually playing and keeps things flowing at a faster pace. So I'm glad to see someone trying it

It would be fun to watch a series where you if you win, you play the loser's deck, and then see what interesting or poor deck building choices people make.

I really like it but i think ranking up a teir should maybe be a chosen craft cause it doesn't happen often

Dark Enchanter? That certainly is probably a one of a kind rare card.... printed out by the suspicious card trader you purchased it from in a dark alley on your way home from school. When will Farfa learn to play around Mirror Force it always gets him.

I say you should add a rule that if you play a card that takes control of another card from your opponent you add it to your deck for free, and if you exchange control you get the card you took but you lose the card you gave.

I think it would be more fitting if it was only opening the secret pack you crafted from or a master pack if it doesn’t have one. Or the selection packs if it’s in there. So this way craft comes before packs

8:00 Galaxy player here, that guy either tried to play using a 1 to 1 Kite Tenjou deck or is seriously stupid lol. The Galaxy-Photon deck has the potential to destroy any deck as long as you know how the other decks work, so it was kinda obvious why you won there.

I think it's good as it is so far... especially when it's becoming harder to rank up past bronze, we might see more stealing than opening the master pack

Maybe you could only open the pack the card you stole is in (including N and R rarity cards). And if the card is not in a secret pack it can give you a master pack. That way you can further support the cards you stole.

I know this series is already running but i think using time thief redoer would be fun. Like only craft from cards you stole for realsies

I think that this should be the equivalent of the bat challenge from MTG instead. In which, any card you handrip from your opponent becomes a card you can add to your deck. The closest yugioh equivalent I can think of is perhaps Neo Spacian Aqua Dolphin, however there's probably a different way that will more easily rip cards that aren't exactly monsters. You'd begin with a deck consisting of a playset of whatever card handrips as well as 37 borderline unusable cards, only adding to the deck whatever you manage to handrip and thus steal in the future. Ofc this might not last a whole series, perhaps instead a long-form video, as it'll probably take a few hours to reach a specified goal.

Oh, I got confused. In the opening you don't specify you craft a card of that rarity from the opp, but that is clearly what you are doing. Might want to update that line to make it clear to people.

my advice would be don't ditch the series after 10 episodes. thats kinda why i like md masochist, its fun to see their deck improve. And I feel like you can actually set a goal and hit it with this challenge, the better your deck gets, the more games you win, which means the more cards you steal, and it just kind of snowballs until your playing something semi-relevant. Diamond or master 1 would be cool

it should be any 2 n/rs, 1 sr, or 1 ur card you get to take, would help out a lot earlier on if N and R get grouped

I really like this series, but idk but what you think about a guaranteed prize when you get n times of N/R craft or smth to balance out

Remove common or make it smaller on the wheel. If the idea is to have a playable deck eventually it seems kinda counter-intuitive to use the rarity that appears least in constructed decks.

Not feedback, but Swordsman of Revealing Light is a very underrated hand trap.

I feel the pulling from packs is too OP, you are getting good stuff out of there and not from stealing

I think the bots do take that much of a time, I played against the exact same burn deck, I just can't imagine any sane person playing this and taking this long

Would be better without the packs. Maybe every time you go up a tier, you roll the RNG and get whatever the number you rolled on that last opponent's deck, in addition to your Steal Wheel.

I'm surprised at the amount of people requesting farfa not opening packs, yes I get currently this isn't exactly "Stealing only" but guys, only one card at the time will be unwatchable. In any of these series you have to get a boost somehow. I will say maybe for the future you should allow yourself to begin with an structure deck instead of an starter deck

One suggestion I do have is to stop doing the secret packs. I just feel that it makes this a bit too easy at least for lower ladder and by the time it doesn’t you just have a good deck already. On top of that you already have 2 other avenues of getting cards so like I don’t think this does too much to hinder you

As a salad player that first duel HURT

It sound interesting when you call it stealing only but this is not as much. I thought it be something like spin a wheel after losing and thats the rarity from the opponen deck you have to take and then after winning, choose a card from the opponent deck to craft or hse.

Despite the negativity since people want Masochist, I rather enjoy the premise. If you all want Masochist then go play it yourself or watch Cimo do it. It is like people complaining when a Poketuber stops doing a certain Nuzlocke series and start a different series.
