Appreciate it, my friend. I started watching this specifically to find Neck Hunter's attack animation and this helps :). I think the frames might be off slightly, but otherwise he did a great job on this. Can't imagine how much trouble he went to for this.

It's absolutely hilarious to me that these animations from 2001 are on par with the animations in Legacy of the Duelist, an Xbox One/ PS4 game from 2015. The amount of effort the animations from LotD had was appalling
You know, I really don't like to complain about stuff, but it really tells how a company like Konami casually animates 682 monster cards from the ground up in bloody 2001, while Pokemon has to re-use the same model and animations over and over again in 2020. Anyway, good video my man. putting all the footage together must have been some long work.
Do monsters have their unique abilities/mechanics in this game or is it like forbidden memories where monsters don’t have special abilities and are just ATT DEF
Came here to make the exact same comment. Wtf is up with the excuses. Every single monster is animated and even when they get hit lol GF is a joke of a company. They don’t deserve Pokemon.
To many new monsters to ever get animations this wild again, but hey maybe someday in the future if there’s a team willing to work on the numbers, unlikely but would be insane if they did, especially how beautiful these attacks are and how unique they where for each monster

And I'm just talking about cards that I've managed to use in game it's very extensive on just the ones that were available in game. I'm still sore about them not putting Dark Paladin in the game considering I physically owned the limited edition platinum glossed card.

But seriously. Is it too much to ask to have my girl Water Omotics have good 3d representation? In Japan they gave her cancer flesh and in the US they used the censored artwork.
Easy with animations on, you have a monster walked up to another monster, and then they do battle, course if you want the victory dance too you’ll have fo win the battles, otherwise the monsters you battle with less attack points then it will counter attack, I remember that happening a lot
