Probably one of the best blue eyes goat deck i ever seen. What do you think about adding Mirage Dragon to the deck? Do you know a good goat deck for dark magician?
@@appeljuicesurf Again, there is no limit to the Fusion deck, so everyone back then always just played every Fusion Monster they owned. It doesn't matter that the situation is uncommon if accounting for it doesn't actually cost you anything.
Is this like a historic retro format because I don’t remember pot of greed being legal at that time. Nor charity. Or is this like traditional? Either way the old school nostalgia is strong here and I love it. Its neat knowing some groups still play goat format.
@@mojo873 I remember hearing about how infamous it was but I was too young to really play and understand it. I wouldn’t start trying to go to tournaments until around the 5ds era.
@@justinterrell7020 Sangan is a one of and Stein costs 5k life lol If it goes off, it can win the game, but if it doesn't, you kinda just die immediately, and if you take any significant life point damage, then half of your deck is dead.
@@justinterrell7020 It was more consistent to just play Metamorphosis by itself instead of building the deck around King Dragun. When Stein goes off, it usually wins the game, but most of the time, I just lost to a Mirror Force/Torrential/Tribe/BLS/Vortex
What do you think of the Blue Eyes deck that uses Kaibaman and Shining angel? It doesn’t use the ritual monsters in that shell. It also uses metamorphosis on Fusilier for Dragun. Do you feel your list is stronger?
Kaibaman can only summon Blue-Eyes from hand and doesn't do anything outside of Summoning Blue-Eyes. Paladin can summon from Hand or Deck, is a 1900 beater, and counters flip effect monsters. Paladin is also searchable multiple ways where the Meta/Dragun strat isn't.
@@mojo873 alright then! Solves that question for me, thanks. Me and a buddy are going down a trip through memory lane and decided we want to play goat format. Do you *need* to have the old printings or do some players just pride themselves on having them?
@@justinterrell7020 Depends on where you live. Goat format isn't an official Konami thing though. Technically, they've announced that they *will* be with the Time Wizard format thing, but they haven't actually done anything with those.
