Paul and Alec are dueling with the last Yu-Gi-Oh Speed Duel GX Midterm Destruction Box! It introduces 4 new decks to the Speed Duel format all based on the Yu-Gi-Oh GX anime characters, including Jaden Yuki's Neo-Spacians with Elemental Hero Neos, Tyranno Hassleberry and his Dinosaurs, Sartorius and the Arcana Force, and Jim "Crocodile" Cook with the Fossils deck! Plus some new anime character Skill Cards to play with the strategies! Let's see what's exactly inside and how these duels will turn!

3:52 "is that a play on straight outta Compton?" Yes it is, N.W.A were well known to be huge Yu-Gi-Oh fans. It wasn't uncommon to see members like Dr. Dre or Ice Cube show up at local game stores with their signature Elemental Heroes deck

Early on with Neo-Spacien Grand Mole around 6:32 If grand mole is attacked face down, it's effect is not activated as it activates at the start of damage step, the same time where a monster would be flipped face-up when it's being attacked.

Yea was looking for this comment. Pretty grandmole was suppose to be destroyed if face down. I thought the mistake didnt change thr outcome but it did.

@@JungleCrook Maybe there isn't a difference, But I've always been ok with corrections that are done without insult or denegration which I felt I did not do. I feel it's good to correct others in such matters simply to give folks oppurtunities to learn about the game they are playing.

Love that y’all are giving Speed Duel some exposure (that it desperately needs). A couple things about the skills, they are not treated as cards, so Babycerasaurus wouldn’t be triggered by Food Chain like it was in game 1. Also, Destructive Fate is supposed to be used on activation, so it wouldn’t be able to correct a coin toss after the fact.

Not including at least one copy of Fossil Fusion was quite the oversight for the set.

I think it's on purpose, since they still gave them the ability to fuse with the Skill card. I think they found Fossil Fusion itself to be too strong for the general power level of Speed Duel (protecting the monster and also recycling itself). Even now, the Fossil Fusion deck is considered to be the top competitive deck at Speed Duel YCS public events.

Alec: "You keep winning coin flips! This is like the opposite of my barrel dragon problems!!" I think you meant to say "Right side up! As I knew it would be." while giving a creepy smile as all Sartorius users know it to be. Then you play a bunch of cards that have nothing to do with Arcana Force! XD Most recently Nurse Radcliffe until her banning. Oh man these were all fun and made me wish we had those skills in DL and Dynatank's whole package as well as Za Wurldo!...If only for it to get limited to a skill or banned day one when somebody used it's lock out infinite stun combo. Either way great video guys!

I love to see a duel longer than 3 turns and each player gets to play cards. I really like the fossil deck.

You guys should make a video where you merge two decks together and dual each other but the rule is if both decks have 40 cards in them, you can only use 60 in total. I’ve done this with a friend of mine, and we both ended up buying the same structure deck, which was funny.

As a Paleozoic player it was fun to see Canadia do some work, even if it never managed to save Paul in the end. I've found the Arcana Force deck tends to either brick really hard or absolutely sweep. I'm a big fan of Sartorius and a casual tarot reader/collector myself so it's fun to have a format it kind of works in. I was also VERY happy to see the Belowski skill card!! He's my favorite wacky GX side character. I actually went and bought the rest of the cards to build a speed duel Mokey Mokey deck and it rocks!

13:19 Paul, you miss played here because Light Barrier is a Field spell and not a continuous spell. So you had to place it on the zone above your Extra Deck.

Hey, Paul. For future reference, Light Barrier is a Field Spell, meaning you could've had an open spell/trap zone, if you had put it in the FSZ (Field Spell Zone).

Always sad that these products don't make it to the EU all I see here in normal toystores in pokemon cards I want those days back when you could just buy yugioh packs at these kind of stores instead of going to have to go to a specialised kind of store :c
