The questions were fun and a bit tricky! I think I got around half or a bit over half correct. Specially the Dark Magician flavor test, since it's my favorite card ever hahah!
So I just wanted to share a fun fact about the least represented type, because it's not actually Wyrm since they have about 84 monsters of that type right now in the game (both OCG & TCG) but the real one is Sea Serpent with only 80 of them in the game right now. But keep up the great videos, I hope something like this could happen at my local card shop

Yeah as a Yugi boomer I got a lot of the ones right that didn't involve stuff that came out after like 2011. I felt so good about myself for the first half of the video lmao
i just remembered the dumbest trivia question in Arc V where they ask the number of teeth Pot of Greed has and i broke down laughing for a good ten minutes.
@@potatoheadpokemario1931 No, Metamorphosis tributes a monsters and summons a fusion monster of the same level. Sheep tokens (summoned by Scapegoat, which is why OP refers to them as "Goat Tokens") are level 1. It was the best way to summon Thousand Eyes Restrict back in the day, much easier than just Fusion Summoning (Instant Fusion wasn't a thing yet, and it was also better due to not destroying the monster, since there was nothing to link off into back then). It was also clearly a joke
Honestly I would love to see this as a fun little series. Don't need to give away packs every time but this could be fun to see more of. Could do more than just card stuff could even do anime related stuff with it too.
Dang .....those questions were kinda tough...I was expecting questions like " what's blue eyes attack and defense?" Or how many monster zones are there?" Or what phase can you put down a face down?" But I managed to get 3 right......good vid ...I want more trivia vids....or maybe do a live stream with trivia on day!
You could set a face down during your opponent’s end phase if the card allows it. So I think that’s more of a trick question. Card of reference. Dust tornado.
@@TheVictor126 That mainly depends on the criteria for their questions If it's strictly TCG, then it's Divine-Beast, which considering the fact that they're at a locals, it very well might be If it's inclusive of the OCG, then it would be Creator God, which is the type of Holactie
I work at one of the local game shops in my town And i cannot wait until we are done with our play area re construction. To be able to host events and see people enjoy TCGs again
Isn't the least represented type Divine-Beast? Even if we're including support, there's less support for Divine-Beasts than there is just Wyrms in general (5 Divine-Beasts, plus 5 Divine-Beast Support cards. There's also 2 Divine Attribute support cards, if you want to count that, which would bring their total to 12) That alone is how many True Draco/True Kings there are
The only reason I know Dark Magicians flavor text off the top of my head is because I always thought it was super underwhelming for a boss monster. So I would've gotten that right and maybe the atk/def question for ghost.
As an old school player I got a lot of the early questions right. Even still, the defense on those monsters were hard. I had 800 for sangan, 200 for stratos, 2000 for Dark Magician, and 1200 for Sparkman.
tbf, out of the protag ace monsters dark magician is the only one with a different defence value from the rest(yusaku's and yuga not withstanding per the nature of their series).
i generally dont like interacting with yugioh videos so it doesnt ruin my feed but ill give you a comment and a like because of how kind you were to the contestants and how impressed i am with some of the contestants being able to answer ridiculously hard questions.
I got 2/10 on these questions. That’s terrible. Been years since I played, though one of the banned cards I thought was Mirror Force not Pot Of Greed still.
I’ve bin off the Yu-Gi-Oh! Grind sense 8th grade (I’m 30 today lol) but seeing your videos takes me back to those fun days! I’ve learned so much from your channel with all these new rules and stuff and I hope to one day get back to a solid understanding of the game. Technically, the Creator God type is the least used type, being exclusively used with "Holactie the Creator of Light," implied to be the precursor to the Egyptian god cards.
But Since that card was never Printed in TCG Does it count? I was thinking the same thing, but Divine-Beasts Cards only have 5 Monsters which are the Egyptian Gods.
That depends to me. Yeah, reprints can make knowing that hard but if you're at a set you shouldn't be confused what's in it. After my first sort through, I know the order of every card in the set by heart. Though I guess I am different. Not only do I remember everything I read, I also store everything by set save my decks (usually) so even if I wasn't supermemoried, I can't not know in situ what I am dealing with because that's just how my brain works - Learn pattern, know pattern, copy pattern as needed. Set order is just another pattern so after my first sort through I don't have any problem ordering them even nearly 20 years later. I didn't even touch Yu-Gi-Oh between SOD and LED4 but the patterns remained when I bought a bunch of reprint LOB after, for example.
The Pot questions were ones that I took guesses on, but managed to get them. The only one that I remember getting wrong was that I was 100 points off on Sangan.

I really like this new idea. Spreading love and packs + some knowledge that's awesome. As for me, I guess I would get a pack cuz I answered most of them right.
Only one I didn't know was Stratos' Def. Wasn't playing/collecting during GX and while I own the card in like 3 different playsets already and intend to at some point do Heroes meaning they would all get a read over in deciding what was good, I haven't yet.
Fun fact, I actually knew the Dark Magician flavor text. I have no idea why. I think it's from the amount of times I saw him in Duelist of the Roses back in the day.
Some of those questions were super tough! Especially the flavor text and yata type question. This was a lot of fun to play along with and see how much I would know. I hope you guys do more of these every now and then.
Naming the 6 zombie girls were the toughest for me. No one will remember the combination of those names unless you actually have to memorize them for a quiz or something. lol

You could tell who were the old school players where like me: we were there for Metal Raiders, Labyrinth of Nightmare, Invasion of Chaos. They knew their stuff and snapped their answers like an old time classic trap card.
Bruh I played original Chaos format and I would've guessed Yata was a spirit because it bounces itself eot. Also would've missed the Red-Eyes fusion text and the hand trap question, got the rest. No old players will ever forget Sangan's atk/def. "Do I 0 for 1 myself or take another 1,000?" ad nauseum.
Who the hell knows flavor text? The only flavor text thing I know is that Burstinatrix used to say "the ONLY female among the elemental heros" but it got switch to "the FIRST female among the elemental heros" after the release of Lady heat and that's only cuz Heros are my favorite archetype
I got the most supported type, least supported type, the ghost girl names, and exact wording for red-eyes incorrect. The other questions I answered correctly and knew quickly

Actually the least represented type in Yu-Gi-Oh! Is Creator God in the OCG with only 1 monster, being the Creator of Light. In the TCG it's Divine-Beast with the 3 God cards
I was so frustrated with the sparkman question... my brains always Pair the attack with the def, 1600+1400=3000, so when he said 1000 with the sparkman i was biting my tongue.
