YGO has some amazing artwork, why are people so keen on ruining it with fairydust and glittersparkles? the eldlich at 4:15 almost looks like a fake you could purchase for 50 cents in poland. At 4:40, the predaplant fusion, its not even readable xDD
Actually useful set for a majority of the player base while also having great rarities for them. Feels like it’s been a minute for sure, at least since DUDE dropped which rivals this.
Set is hella fun to open, got a booster box and pull QCR pot of prosperity, QCR forbidden droplet, and QCR ghost belle. Love this set glad Konami transport this set I hope we get another one honestly.
Looking at this box set. I now have to look into and gather all my staples and see what I need to stock up on as SR. I might be SR stacking for the next month or so, for all my pet decks.
Mine’s definitely filled in a ton of gaps I had in my staples collection although I still need one more ash blossom and joyous spring and a few other cards for my salamangreat deck build to be completed only now since I have extras of cards people actually want at higher rarities I might actually be able to trade the remaining cards I’m missing
I don’t play paper but I started collecting months ago. I got a box yesterday and am seriously considering going to buy another few. So much fun to open up and they look so good in a binder
Got myself a 25th Heatsoul, Artemis in 25th and Collectors, Eldlich, Ecclesia, God Slime in Collectors, Benten in 25th and Collectors, and Ash and Avramax in Prismatic Ulti. And that was just box 1. This set should be the standard.
I got into yugioh through master duel only and have never played paper yugioh but coming from magic the idea and execution of this set is so cool I went out and bought some packs anyway. Seriously considering a box just cuz. If opening booster packs is supposed to be it's own form of purchaseable fun (outside of value of cards/playing the game or whatever) the way card game companies always tout it this is the only way to do it.
Amazing set, I love how people have to keep reminding us they're not sponsored when opening this because the reactions are so positive towards everything. It was super hyped up, it's selling out, online prices are ridiculously high for post-OTS release date...everything speaks for itself I guess
My OTS actually got an error case; every single box from the case had no Prismatic Ultimates, but had twice as many Prismatic Collector's. I pulled 0 Ultis and 9 Collector's from my box.
I wish Konami would keep doing this for other sets with if you want a cheap version or a shiny version of the same card you can, imagine if staples like Pot of Prosperity can in secret and super rare
it probably would have been cheaper to make a huge order on like tcgplayer for all the various staples i need as a new player but this was a much more fun way to get the cards and support my LGS in the process
I just opened a case of the booster boxes for this and I think it was an error case. I didn't pull a single prismatic ultimate rare. Is there something I'm missing lol?
I wonder if its just me but i was unfortunately unimpressed by the new ultimate rares. I pulled a baronne ulti and it just doesnt look great. Im a big fan of the new CR's though pulled a rota and its so beautiful
That’s true with everything though. You dont have to play paper yugioh. But many people do so they need the cards to play lol. Really anything but food and your house/living costs is just extra. Dont need to spend anything to live you can be content with simplicity.
