I knew I recognised it from Spyro. It's distinct at the start of the Magma Cone theme from Spyro 2.

It fits them both pretty well, normal Marik and Yami.

Both of them knew how to fuck with peoples heads and in the manga when the first rare Hunter lost he turned into a scarred child on the inside omg it's happening it's happening!

I agree and the friends till the end proved it I mean he literally made a duel to the death game and if you refused or interfered he was going to literally crush someone to death now that is sick.

I didn't buy Bakura being the big bad at the end. I mean we saw him win like what 2 battles? One against a weakened Pegasus using ancient egyptian laser beams and one against bones...? And we're supposed to believe he is gonna destroy the world? Marik was a bigger threat. Dude brainwashed Joey and Tea and almost fucking drowned Yugi.

@@ShiniRyuga Bakura was involved in: - The shadow game against Atem in S1 - The mental shadow game with peagasus we didn’t see at the end of S1 - The shadow game he constructed against Bonz and his gang in the cemetery - The Battle City finals duel against Yugi/Atem - The Shadow Game that he fought on behalf of Marik’s light side - The predawn duel with Kaiba atop KC Tower, when he was trying to make Kaiba remember his past life. -3 ancient shadow games with Atem, 2 of which involved the sacred guardians as well. -1 ancient shadow game with Mahad -1 modern duel with Yugi taking place in the ancient pharaoh’s tomb. -1 more shadow game against Atem, the sacred guardians, and the modern gang, after he merged with Zorc. He wasn’t a minor opponent at all. He was just smart about biding his time while he waited for an opportunity to seize control of the millennium items and their power. When he eventually realized that he was running out of time and the opportunity in the modern world was failing to materialize, he decided to instead join Atem in returning to the ancient past so that he could have a second chance to seize total power back then. It was smart.

@@ShiniRyuga even tho Yami Marik was a main villain and the dub portrays as this super threatening villain he relied heavily on shadow games and the winged dragon of ra to win

@@ShiniRyuga dude it was all build up. Yami Bakura was a secondary villain throughout the show, the big bad lurking in the shadows, biding his time. The ending is where he finally seizes the opportunity, and steps into the main villain role. I haven’t even seen that arc btw, but on paper I think it’s a cool as hell idea for a villain. And despite not seeing that arc, I liked Yami Bakura more than both Pegasus and Marik. Considering Battle City is widely considered the best arc however, it does seem that Marik got to be the main villain of the better arc. Still loved Bakura’s part in it tho.

speaking of ass, Marik has a pretty fine one in the art that's used in this compilation

@@dangregh9940 Well, I pulled up the episodes and checked the scenes you mentioned and sometimes the normal Leichter theme is playing without that electronic background instrument and that other theme that plays which seems to be a faster version is completely unreleased, at least to my knowledge, as I don't have it nor have I ever found it. I noticed that another theme plays as well which again is completely unreleased to my knowledge, I know that one also plays right after Noah takes over Mokuba's body in the digital world arc. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, I wish I had those themes, along with that other super fast and epic Leichter theme they play a lot towards the end of the digital world arc.

STWproductionz it’s not in there. Watch the episode where Obelisk the tormenter strikes Yami Marik in the Yugi vs Marik duel. When he’s getting up saying “impressive pharaoh but it’ll take more than that to keep me down.” There’s a song that’s super common but it’s NEVER been released!

sadly marik true deck was never show in a duel, i would like to see it, but his strategy with slifer when he dueled as string was very good

@@breno7665 Yeah, we've only seen the regular Marik duel twice: controlling Strings and Joey. He even used banned cards in the second duel. I wonder what his normal deck is like.
