Is she your card crush? Cyrus has a crush on her if I remember right or was it that card that Blair has that flirts with Jaden Avon and Sparkman? I know Cyrus was crushin on her lol
We need Toon Synchros. The Tooner pun is too good to pass up. But what I really want from Toons is Fusions. We have several recipes already in the lineup, How awesome would Toon Five God Dragon be? Or Blue Eyes Intimate Toon Dragon? Toon Ancient Gear Chaos Giant?
Ive always been a fan of the toon monsters, I always thought it a neat concept that I wish they had done more with and hope they will additionally do more with given that its seem they've got some slight support as of recent..
yes ! pegasus' voice again XD I died there. and wow you did all toon cards!? *awesome video :D aand... I think you know red-eyes black dragon now from the comments.
I like how most of your videos match your subscriber count, well done on the consistent good videos man following for quite a while now, about a year and a half i think now
I believe that if Konami decides to release more toon monsters and cards it could eventually become a VERY stronger archetype for a deck. For starters, a few basic ideas would be: a Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon Dragon, Toon Flame Swordsman, Toon Time Wizard, Toon Baby Dragon and Thousand Dragon, Toon Dark Sage, Toon Stardust Dragon, Toon Kuriboh (yes I know that kuriboh already looks toony BUT he's not a part of this archetype so there are ways to try and make an official counterpart for this archetype) and maybe Toon Jinzo. Now why these cards specifically? Easy answer, in the series, Pegasus used his cards to basically either take control of his opponent's monsters or to create a copy of them and then turn them into Toon versions of themselves, so far so good. For me it makes sense to make cards like these into Toon monsters because they are some of the most used monsters their owners use. For example: the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is one of Kaiba's most powerful monsters, so it would make sense if someone with Pegasus' mind would try to use that card to their advantage. Now this could be argued by the fact that he would just steal his normal Blue-Eyes and therefore the Ultimate Dragon couldn't be summoned, but why just settle for a normal Blue-Eyes when you can have an even more powerful one. As for the other cards pretty much the same thing, they're either powerful cards that their owners use very much throughout the series or they are undeniably cards that pretty much have become iconic for these characters, so besides their stats and effects it could also be a very good promotional material. Of course the same thing could be said about lots of other cards, but I believe the first that come to mind when someone says "Yu-Gi-Oh" are either these cards or cards associated with these. I could obviously be wrong since this is just my opinion on the subject but I think we can all agree that it would be really cool at the least to get more monsters of this archetype.
How I appreciate the archetype's expansion. Especially now that we have my new personal coolest, Toon Dark Magician. Which I had no idea about until now, since I don't really the play the game outside of older video games. Now that they've also released Toon Red-Eyes, a Toon Black Skull Dragon would be wicked.
Fun fact on ebay there are fan make cards at are toons list being toon blue eyes Ultimate Dragon toon Slifer the Sky Dragon toon obelisk the Tormentor and toon winged dragon of Ra
@TGS Anime this one needs an update due to the existence of new spell&trap support & Red-Eyes Toon Dragon, Toon Dark Magician, Toon Harpie Lady & Toon Black Luster Soldier
Fun Fact: It's possible that "Toon Mask" is a Toon version of the "Mask" spell & trap cards. Also given its similar ears, as well as it's simple facial features and apparent lack of hair, it's reminiscent of and resembles Shrek, the titular character of the Dreamworks movie franchise.
Ok, I always thought Toon Blue Eyes was too OP in the original game since it can give out 3000 Atk at your opponent. It have to have some practicality in the modern game.
Toons need Extra Deck monsters and better support. Some ideas for Extra Deck Monsters: Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon Dragon, Dark Rebellion Toon Dragon, Starve Venom Toon Dragon, Toon Dark Paladin, Toon Cyber End Dragon, Toon Amulet Dragon, Toon Dark Magician Girl The Dragon Knight, Clear Wing Toon Dragon, Toon Firewall Dragon, Toon Decode Talker, Number 39: Toon Utopia, Number S39: Utopia The Toon Lightning, etc.
Meanwhile at Duelist Kingdom. Kisara: How come I don’t have a toon counterpart? Pegasus: Well.... (A few years ago) Pegasus: I summon Toon Kisara! Toon Kisara: (In Jamie Marchi’s voice and looking like the art style of Panty and Stocking) Who the fuck are you, ya pompous bag of shit doorbells?! Pegaus: This is a nightmare....
the first time I saw toon summoned skull I didn't know anything of yu-gi-oh and I saw him come out of toon world but didn't see that it was a book so I thought of it as one goofy giant monster.
All toon cards and others related to them: Toon Summoned Skull Blue Eyes Toon Dragon Red Eyes Toon Dragon Toon Cannon Soldier Toon Goblin Attack Force Toon Buster Blader Toon Barrel Dragon Toon Dark Magician Toon Ancient Gear Golem Toon Mermaid Toon Dark Magician Girl Toon Gemini Elf Toon Cyber Dragon Toon Masked Sorcerer Toon Winged Dragon of Ra(that is the toon version of Ra that was brought up on the scripted va duel of Maximillion Pegasus vs Marik Ishtar/Yami Marik) Toon Alligator Dark Rabbit Manga Ryu Ran Parrot Dragon Toon World Toon Table of Contents Toon Kingdom Shadow Toon Mimicat Comic Hand Toon Rollback Shine Palace(I am pretty sure this card doesn't exist) Toon Defense Toon Briefcase Toon Mask Their OG Counterparts: Summoned Skull Blue Eyes White Dragon Red Eyes Black Dragon Cannon Soldier Goblin Attack Force Buster Blader Barrel Dragon Dark Magician Ancient Gear Golem Red Archery Girl Dark Magician Girl Gemini Elf Cyber Dragon Masked Sorcerer Winged Dragon of Ra Alligator's Sword Ryu Ran
Even with retrained support cards and newer monsters, Toons are still hard to bring out due to a portion of them needing tributes. If they just Tooni-fied or Mangarizied a popular archetype with a variety of low-level monsters, the story could change a bit.
Question. Since Toon Dark Magician Girl is considered a Dark Magician can you use Skilled Dark Magician to summon her from the deck without the need for Toon World since it is not a Nomi summon?
I want to see Toon Fusions. We have recipes already for Dark Paladin, B. Skull Dragon, Blue-Eyes Ultimate (and Twin Burst and Neo Ultimate), that Ultimate Gear Golem, stuff like that. Plus more generic ones like the Hermos and Timaes ones, Pair Cycroid, Panzer Dragon, etc and Five God Dragon. Toon Fusions would be awesome.
Did anyone else notice that in the english version that says in Toon Table of Condents card, that 'Beast' is a Satan reference using the page number 666? Surprisingly dark, even by Yu-Gi-Oh standards.
Honestly, I'm surprised that no entertainment duelist in any yugioh series ever used toon deck. Arc-V for me is the perfect series to revive toon, maybe make an entertainment duelist character who use toons and it's supports in the series, since making people smile through dueling is one of it's important story element, something that I believe toons can actually accomplish (I find toons to be more hilarious compared to performapals tbh).
Where are the Toon Dark Magician and Red-Eyes Black Dragon? Also I note that Parrot Dragon, Dark Rabbit, Comic Hand, Mimicat and technically Flying Elephant are also toon monsters and are seen in Pegasus's toon deck.
Toon alligator may not be labeled as toon but myself and the people I play it have always counted it as such it happens to be one of my favorite monsters
Why didn’t Konami make extra deck toon mosters/toon support. Like Blue-Eyes Ultimate Toon Dragon or Cyber End Toon Dragon or even Dark Toon Paladin! And some Cyberse Toon monsters would be awesome!
The dawn of destiny is a great game! Btw you missed one toon, if I'm not mistaken they are adding Red Eyes Toon Dragon to the Toon Archtype and he has an awesome effect. Although I haven't heard anything other than that about it so I may be wrong.
Wow, I thought I had every toon card in my toon deck. Guess I was right, so long as the only toon cards that came out after this are dark magician, red-eyes, and I believe that's it
You know what be cool if there was a toon sub type. Like american toons are still called toons while japanese toons are called manga. For example there could be toon blue eyes that copies tropes from american cartoons and manga blue eyes who copies more japanese style tropes and comedy.
I certainly love the toon archetype and even still only pegasus has used it though more and more monsters look like they could have been toons heck dennis and Yuya's cards could be considered toons in their own right I would love a yugioh video game where they make a toon hub world that would be swell
The first Toon World artwork is misleading, it's the fiend section for Toon Summoned Skull. Hence the out of place haunted house and tombstones. The Toon archetype in general is a poor representation of how the cards were used. Just playing Toon World turns your monsters into Toons automatically and makes them impervious to being destroyed by battle (with non-Toon monsters). It's that simple. Making physical copies of the Toon monsters was unnecessary, as was the strange direct attack effect. Same type of thing applies to the Call of the Haunted counterparts and Metalmorph counterparts; they didn't need to exist.
I wonder if more Toon monsters are coming, considering the two weird monsters shown on the covers of Toon Kingdom, and the listing of "God" in Toon Table Of Contents. Toon Exodia, anyone?
