i think you are underutilizing this by insisting playing a purer d/d package why not go for generic options like muckraker or the rank 4 that revives to make gryphon plays get extra bodies and get unchained combo through d/d? this would also let you lose bricks
Great point! Your fiend pile deck definitely shows very nice synergies that unbrick certain D/D/D hands. But in my deck builds I wanted to showcase decks, which still are primarely D/D/D at heart you know :D
@@DifferentDimensionDreamer Yeah i get that but its imo a hinderence. The locks that Gilgamesh lines put on are just too severe and i think we came at a point that using the splashability of d/d cards should be the main line to actually showcase its strength. Let me tell you before my friend suggested d/d as an engine, as a returning player i had no idea that it was splashable and i am sure there is an even bigger splashable package in d/d but i can't figure it out yet. I really like that you are trying to splash other things to d/d but i think trying the other way around is the more reasonable approach and one that i would prefer to see you know :D I am not saying stop all videos with d/d is prioritized but maybe make one with something splashed in d/d and another with d/d splashed in something :D Example: make one vid with my type of deck where d/d is splashed in and then try to take both lab and unchained and try to splash them in your deck at the same time. They would be basically 2 sides of the same coin you know :D
good question! That would be epic! I have never played odd-eyes to say for sure, but from a DDD standpoint it is very difficult to mix it with other archtypes which are not fiends. If you special Orthros its gonna lock you into it. And if you use Gilgamesh it locks you into DDDs, which is even worse. The only thing I can see is, if you play a small D/D engine with 3 gates and 1 vice king, 1 pendragon and 1 machinex in the extra in an odd eyes deck. If i come up with something viable i will post it on my channel :D
