@@fry4guy421 from that point, they hopefully stopped producing the anime, since: 1) Takahashi died recently 2) Konami realized Yu-Gi-Oh Is now an only-hardcore playing game
Fun fact: the singer of "With the Wind" is Hiroaki Tominaga the same of "Sono chi no Sadame" the opening of JoJo Phantom Blood and "End of the world " the 2nd opening of Stardust Crusaders.
it is and for a good reason , when Vrains came out , the Master rule 4 destroyed the game by forcing people to not be able to play their favourite decks. Im saying this as one of those people , after 5 years I came back to Yugioh and decided to give Vrains a chance , it was an absolute gem , but just saying why its underrated , it gives bad memories.
At 0:16 it literally sounds like "I crossed out your neighbors" 😂 All seriousness, probably the best OP1 a Yugioh series has had so far, excited for the future!
@@sisho4743 bad sellings or not this is along side with 5ds objectively best Yu-Gi-Oh, and it is underrated comparing to overeating duel monsters or gx
Crazy how the same artist who created the op for the beginning of a bloodline of heros who was from an older time, does an op for a very futuristic set place for character who is far down in a trilogy of prodigy card game players.
When I first started watching vrains, it seemed not understandable like i had many questions in the first few eps and I was about to quit it but now, vrains is literally an amazing series. 5ds, vrains, gx and arc v are my favorite yugioh series's ✨
Yeah except that DSOD was a cinema release and this is going on TV which is a lot more sensitive when it comes to mature subjects. Then again, kids TV has been gradually moving towards more adult themes anyway so who knows?
FatSnorlax true, but it mainly depends on what network vrains is picked up by, if it's nicktoons expect censorship, but I'm hoping some other network so they can do a little bit of that.
Seriously, why reply with "me" to this comment? Nobody cares about your replies, the person who commented it only wants likes. Simple minded people... why are you so easy to manipulate?
to this day I will never understand Konami rushing the end to Vrains and ditching studio gallop for Sevens to come along. Dark, brooding, characters with relatable sad backtories...Vrains was exactly what a mature-esque yugioh series looked like. Damn you, konami. Damn you.
It's probably because of production problems. We know the movie really messed up ARC-V and took away a lot of the budget and crew, and VRAINS was a nightmare behind the scenes. Gallop was spread very thin. I'm hoping they come back for YGO 8, after they've had time to recover from all the strain.
Because we didn't get a new summoning method and it's hard think about how long rush duels have been around because we can't play them outside of duel links
When Vrains was first announced, loved the character design (Some of the best in the series in my opinion) but was skeptical of the concept. After seeing a few episodes and dope duels in clips along with these stellar openings, this is my second favourite Yugioh series behind GX.
Yu-gi-oh is eternal. Because they have a perfect set up. Due to a new main character each season, they will constantly keep the show fresh with new story lines that fit the scenarios they come up with.
Are the protagonists Ace cards being made in a pattern? Yugi: Dark Magician - Humanoid Jaden: E HERO Neos - Humanoid Yusei: Stardust Dragon - Dragon Yuma: Utopia - Humanoid Yuya: Odd Eyes Dragon - Dragon Yusaku : Firewall Dragon - Dragon I guess it's a pattern? Maybe I'm just stupid.
@@Swegin I know that, they all have the same stat line minus Dark Magician who has 100 more defence than everyone else. We all know that the stats of the next main protagonist monster will be, 2500 atk 2000 def level 8. What we don't know is the appearance and I'm trying to figure that out.
It is a pattern, as long as Firewall is banned, Decode is temporaly taking the ace spot. Say whatever you want Firewall WILL be unbanned one day or another with an errata. This card already had a huge impact being an ace monster even if it was a short time...
I love this op so much. Also the dub version is nowhere near as awesome as this one which is kind of surprising because I tend to find both op versions to be good.
I came back to Yu-Gi-Oh! during Covid-19 after having left it around GX era and WOW. Out of all series this one stuck out the most. Amazing story line and soundtracks! This definitely rivals the first Yu-Gi-Oh! series in its own way.
From the first few episodes, it seems like this is going to be another good series. I really enjoyed Arc-V, despite the bad-ish ending, and I'm glad to see this series will follow that. Really hoping they take their time writing out the story for this one and don't rush it like they did Arc-V.
Is it just me or has the last 3 New generation of Yu-Gi-Oh been a repeat of the first three generations? Yugi and Atem = Yuma and Astral Jaden = Yuya Yusei = Yu(whatever his name is in VRAINS) Could we be possibly looking at a crossover explaining the timeline in 2021 like we got in 2011?
Arc V makes the timeline super confusing it could be that the original dimension is where the original continuity happened and thus at the end of Arc V when the original dimension is reborn thus the timeline is back in place but at the same time you think that would be mentioned in Vrains since it’s further into the future then Arc V (I think). Also Zexal is hard to tell where it is in the timeline. What I’m saying is that it is impossible to tell what the fuck the continuity is. Last point how would dueling between the three of them work given the fact that the new master rules fundamentally makes you play links.
@@dylanf3108 timeline goes like this: DM GX 5ds are in the same universe after that zexal could take place anywhere in the future. Arc 5 is a seperate story and Vrains could be placed before 5ds and the thing with links isnt that important to the story. Different regions habe different cards or rules. But unlike the other animes vrains truly jas no connection through eastereggs to the old series
Stand User: Josaku Fujo Stand Name: Decode Talker, Powercode Talker(Act 2) etc. Stand Ability: has 3 counters, for each Stand or Stand User it points to, it's strength increases, when a stand ability is activated; break 1 bone, and if you do, negate the stand ability Requiem Stand Ability: deactivates a stand and summons another stand for eternity and then you can eventually summon a stand with infinite power
Man you guys keep coming out with new Yu-Gi-Oh! shows. Looks pretty cool, but I absolutely love the original and how emotionally charged it became during season 3 especially. Rock on.
Start swirling, data storm… Yeah opening 1 is just catchy (that's the crunchyroll translation, it could be wrong. Eother way, the opening and ending, just good
Listening to Yu-Gi-Oh openings brings so much nostalgia to me. To a point that it nearly brings a tear to my eye. I will never forget what Kazuki Takahashi brought to my life. Rest in Piece, Takahashi-sensei, thank you for everything.
You know this is a bit nostalgic for me since I got back into yugioh again while vrains was airing. God I miss those day binge watch yugioh…. Time sure does fly 😅
Tommy singing the intro? check. Buff guy in egyptian styled golden clothing? check. Now we just need Yusaku to become incredibly buff and wear a cap that fuses with his hair and we've got ourselves another season of JoJo.
