when I was a kid this was like the coolest shit I'd ever seen in my entire life, he was flying a giant dragon plane to fight an old man in cards and I was enamoured by the cinematic badass brilliance
I’ve been thinking about this scene for over 15 years and decided to try find it once again. I finally have. It’s been an unscratched itch for the past decade and a half.
@@SuperSoldier26 I said this four years ago. I've grown, experienced new things, met all sorts of different people, gone through challenges, and embraced my triumphs. With that having been said, MY DESIRE TO REENACT THIS ENTIRE SCENE HAS ONLY GROWN!!!!!
The nostalgia was REAL with this one, like the last time i saw this scene was when i watched the whole movie in DVD when it was just released, was like 7 or 8, the soundtrack also add more to this i remember singing along with it with my broken english (not a native english speaker) and jumping around haha, the feels are strong with this one.
@@pels5212 it’s the force of the air going over the the plane as it flies. Most jets and machines and creatures made to move fast are slim and streamline, because that means there is less air catching onto those exposed parts and “dragging” them back. It’s part of the reason that a plane’s wheels retract into the plane upon take off, because the wind would be going by with such force that they could potentially rip them off, or at the very least make it very difficult to maintain the speed needed to fly. The Blue-Eyes White Dragon Jet has multiple exposed pets like the legs, tail and a neck which would all increase the drag on the plane and likely make it impossible to fly properly. But that’s just my understanding of it, I’m sure someone else can explain it better.
*I hope you know what your doing big brother * I was just hoping the same thing I died at this part when I got for my birthday and watched it the first time
Literally been listening to this song, since it got posted out back in 2010, but never bothered to write a comment, but this song was literally top tier, literally carried my childhood. Extremely underrated, but anyways like Seto once said; The Future Is Unlimited And The Past Is But A Trace Of A Memory.
@@crazyredhead4968 Like Yugi and the Pharaoh said, he needs to learn from his past to become a better person even better than who he is now which upsets and saddens Mokuba
I was like 8 when i first watched this, i legit thought he was saying "Konami" at the end 😂, i was like that's a nice way to advertise their company lol
This song is so true about Kaiba that his only friends are the ones he pay and people out there think he's all that and he's got it made and s**t. Believe me when I say that the guy is miserable and hurting inside and out. This is why Steve Harvey once said on one of his stand-up comedies and I quote: "Money don't make happy, it makes you different." Aside from them Kaiba's employees, Mokuba is his only friend he has to which this is very sad and heartbreaking
It's because he's obsessed with being the best. His passion is duel monsters and it's something he was always good at, but Yugi took that title from him after he beat him in their first match and ever since then Yugi has been known as the best duelist ever. To seto kaiba duel monsters isn't just a game, it's his life. It also matches with the story because his whole goal in the movie is to find a card strong enough to finally beat Yugi and his Egyptian god cards.
