I love mizar’s sub and dub voice however the dub for the first summoning of tachyon dragon gives me more chills because in the subbed he says “show yourself and guide me to victory” like a more servant kind of interpretation to me but in the dub “arise my beast for we shall claim victory for Barian” like he’s saying how fierce tachyon dragon is and the “we shall claim victory” like they’re partners

17:42 the mad thing is if Yuma played “overlay borage” utopia would not have been able to activate any special abilities essentially making tachyon dragon’s ability useless and damaged Mizar’s life points. It would have massively changed the outcome of the duel.
But It wouldn't have changed the fact that Tachyon Dragon still would've destroyed Utopia and Yuma would still take physical damage from the Sphere Field

The value of Galaxy Eyes Photon Dragon is that it is an XYZ monster hunter which was Kite's role for the first half of the show. If it was an XYZ monster its ability would be useless. In any case you get a version of your wish in Arc-V with Galaxy Eyes Cipher Dragon and Neo Galaxy Eyes Cipher Dragon.

just a little fact: in the dub version the bit where yuma's grandma is talking to tori got shortened. the original was tori was in the shower and when grandmother asks tori to go cause she's yuma's girlfriend her towel drops.
I wish Yugioh Zexal never discontinued it was my favorite of all the spinoffs, the character designs, the writers not killing off almost ever good character like the Yugioh Arc V writers did with how they introduced counterparts for Yuya and Zuzu only to kill them off
