What I like about 3 kings arc is that we get to see shifting between yusuke kurama and hieis various situations and perspectives and they are all so interesting they could make small mini arcs of themselves
I KNEW you were gonna love the characterization in this Arc. The development that Hiei, Kurama, and Yusuke receive in this Arc is admirable despite the Arc being a bit shorter. Hiei’s backstory is very nearly as emotionally impactful as Gaara’s, and it always makes me appreciate him as a character even more than I did already. Togashi showcasing his talent in character-building, even before HxH.
Glad to hear you're realling enjoying it! I think this section of the show has always been my favorite. The Dark Tournament is the ultimate nostalgia trip for me with some great character moments and Chapter Black is a really cool tone shift for the show that starts it down a bit of a darker road, but I always found this part particularly fascinating. Seeing the world expand and so many of the mysteries behind the characters being revealed, while also introducing new questions to ponder, is really cool to watch. It always makes me sad that the story was cut short due to Togashi's health problems. There's so much more that I would have loved to see given the foundation this sets, but even so there's still a lot of great stuff left to come before the show ends.
Christopher Sabat was such a talented voice actor, now he doesn't really try or give a shit. There was a point I couldn't tell Piccolo and Vegeta were the same voice actor, but ever since Kai and Super, they've sounded almost identical. And All Might just sounds the same as all his other roles. But older series he did like Raizen, DBZ Vegeta and Piccolo, etc.. they were so good.
Yeah, it resembles the Dark Tournament in the sense that it's not so focused on the fighting. Also, how short it is was disappointing. However, looking at the series as a whole, it was a story to be told, and I'm glad Togashi kept it short. I find that when anime/manga drag on too long the creators lose sight of the direction or vision they initially set for a series.
Oh man Great Reactions man. Oh btw this 2 episodes showed insane Feats. Yusuke Ran for 4 Days Straight without getting tired. Crazy!! Hiei as an A-Class Killed 500 A-Classes and is about to Fight an S-Class. He Killed 500 People as Strong as himself. That Last Feat is ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Btw Raizen (who isn’t even healthy), Mukuro and Yomi are on the Same Level but Raizen is Stronger than Both. That’s how insane Raizen is.
Yoshihiro Togashi the man who created Hunter X Hunter and Yu Yu Hakusho is a fan boy of the Film Alien it influenced his art work alot. You can really see it with the structures in demon world the similarities between The Alien and the demon lords structures as well as the second stadium in the Dark Arts Tournament
Kuwabara doesn't have an active role in this arc, but it's not because he's outclassed. Remember that Sensui with his sacred energy had to dodge the Jiganto while he could easily fend off A-class Kurama and Hiei's attacks. The Jiganto makes Kuwabara an S-class human. It's made of his spirit energy after all, and could harm an S-class being. Imagine if he could learn to wrap that level of spirit energy around himself. Not saying it happens; in fact I'll say it doesn't, but if Togashi hadn't canceled the series because the Shonen Jump sponsors or whatever pushed him to the point of burn-out then maybe we'd have seen a development like that that would put his ability to take attacks on par with his ability to attack. Then just give him the ability to consciously materialize those Spirit Knives he threw at Elder Toguro in a rage and you have a fully human character completely on par with the other three. Anyway, the reason Kuwabara doesn't have an active role in this arc is because he has no ties to Demon World, meanwhile his teammates are scattered to all sides of the coming conflict. On a separate note, when the nature of the arc takes a sudden near-180-degree turn shortly after Raizen's inevitable death, I think at that point the manga's either run out or just about run out; at the very least it's at the point where it runs out before any new plot threads can be introduced, and the anime's basically scrambling to reach a point that ties up the loose ends as neatly as possible.
Idk about all that. Kuwabara is definitely out of the last arc because it wouldn't make sense narratively. But I also think he's outclassed. His dimension sword is obviously the strongest weapon in the series. It can cut through literally anyone no matter how strong they are, assuming he's fast enough to do so. But considering he wasn't fast enough to cut one of the lowest S-class's we see in the series, I doubt he could ever reach such a level. Sensui seems to be the peak of human combat ability. The only reason Yusuke goes beyond him is because of his demonic origins. No matter how strong a weapon Kuwabara has, his ability to utilize it will always be limited. And considering how absurdly powerful (and by extension fast) things get by the end, I doubt he could ever meaningfully close that gap.
@@MergatroidS I got something to say about this kuwabara's ability being the strongest ability in the show thing but I'm wait to say it. Meaning please don't say it.
