It's another glorious Spring day in the Magnificent Canyon of the North Yuba River and everyone is finding gold. The Sierra's snowbanks are melting and Mother Yuba is running as higher, faster and colder as she has all Spring. Brother Burt is back from Tahiti and Hawaii. Team Old Farts (Geno from Reno, Wild Bill Crockett and ex-marine Devin) are more than ready to kick their 2024 mining season into gear. We mass our forces for a four angi attack on the bedrock gravel. We fail to mass sufficient forces to set a world record. Still, we relax, take our time, make some smoke offerings, find some gold, experience a few moments of Yuba bliss and enjoy some good company. It's a splendid outing for all concerned.
