Yubel extra deck is too tight plus if you ever want to run it you can just play the trap for going first instead but that's only good if you drew squirmer. if you notice they also cut prosperity. and if you do decide to run pros. it's really stupid to pros for 6 it's always going to be for 3

As nice as super poly is, its way too tight for the main deck.

Its not about the extra being to tight for super poly, cuz if it were good thete would be ways to fit the targets in, the main problem is that super poly just isnt good right now.

the only thing the fiendsmith give it is the ability to make the dark beckoning package equal full yubel combo. one of yubel's issues was getting Nib'd mid combo. now we don't need to worry about it as much.

You need to lower your expectations, you're only seeing the games he wins.

Ok but what does this deck lose to when going 1st? Except for the usual Shifter i feel like this tanks handtraps like a champ

@@xatuyou8045 you also need to take into account a lot of misplays lith did and that the list will eventually be way more optimized. @fanix92 Ironically Shifter cooks the combo version but can be played by Yubel (especially after siding) with Super Poly and Skill Drain. Throne and Spirit work with the banishment so unless the opponent's deck makes a great board under shifter, you can either do enough to OTK or at least make Phantom (doesn't have to spin only from gy) and Rage into SP.

@xatuyou8045 even if it were just the wins, that shouldn’t matter, the purpose of the video is to show the potential of the deck. He never said it was gonna be like tier zero or anything

Its far from it... And you should have probably all the cards already to not pay these higher prices now

if we had the goddess link 2 it would be a lot better. but without it we are forced to play awkward ratios of the yubel cards to even do yubel combo. Fiendsmith will still make it good but not as consistent.

It can, but since it has "then" and Phantom is added to the extra deck instead of the hand, the effect stops there.

It can recycle phantom, it just can't special summon it since in order to special summon it by throne, it would have to be added to your hand, which won't happen since phantom is a fusion card so it'll always go back to the extra deck.

it can, summoning the yubel you add is optional. just like how geist grinder is optional so you can reveal the 2nd or 3rd form and still summon geist to the opponent's field even though you can't summon the 2nd or 3rd form from your hand.

How does someone watch this and their takeaway is that crossheep is a problem card...

you draw more than 2 hand traps. ash on lotus is still pretty strong, Veiler/imperm on dark beckoning beast makes it very hard to combo unless they already have squiremer/throne.

Ghost Ogre on Nightmare Pain can make them end on a worse board.

@@mythriljojo not really. All the yubel end boards are pretty strong and the deck can still end on a good endboard after ogre on field spell

@@Gilgamesh-em6ru I said Nightmare Pain. Not Throne. True the deck can still go into Yama to get Sharvara and pop cards but you don't get to search Squirmer. It's a little weaker there and if you don't have Spirit Gates to retreive Nightmare Pain you can't prevent your opponent from walking over an Apo and such. Still it'll be a good board thanks to Phantom but it will be weaker, I'd say. If you have Field spell you're probably still alright thanks to Sharvara.

The side deck is just the potential options to buff out the list if you aren’t feeling certain card choices provided in the deck list. Kinda a running trend with his videos very insightful
