Someone who has the same opinion about U stance. It's such a strong tool to master, but it takes time because you have to learn how to react and the match up (and switching multiple time can be quite tricky to execute). Good guide!
thanks :) yeah i dont see people use it enough thats why i wanted to included it in length :) I feel like Yuel has 2 parts, the easier part and straight forward and then the depth with u stance. Like you say its hard to learn all combinations and be ready for everything and when to use it (and uses in different matches) I have the advantage i think that back in gbvs i used Narmaya and for her its kinda the same :)

That's why i moved this video up in the list of making since i got multiple requests for it :) (also it helped me realise alot of things myself , how the high level players use stance and baits) Once you get punished hard for jumping it hurts. Also dont forget that jump u can bait their anti airs so they hesitate more :) the n1 tool in neutral from what i see from high level matchups is 66L lots of stance and lots of jump baits.

thanks :) I think stance is really important, i will add some more stance things in the pressure video which are really hard. but its will take some time to get used to for everyone :) Makes it fun to learn the complex things also
Thanks for the really basic intro to Yuel's tools. I've been having a lot of fun with her but there's been some stuff frustrating me. I'm struggling to get into the right mindset for Yuel. Stance and 22X are static and feel at odds with the rest of her kit which emphasizes her movement. I was surprised how often stuff would drop if I didn't put a small delay between the wall bounce and the pickup normal. Ive also seen some nasty Yuel combos involving 22X and 214U off a 2H anti air or wall bounce setup but I can't seem to figure it out as the training dummy will constantly air recover mid combo.
no problem :) first thing, i made a combo video as well, i think some of the combos you mentioned are also there (if you have time can you check and tell me which combo you struggle with?) if i am reading correct you mean i think the .... 236H and then the pick up after the wall bounce right? Its all about learning or finding the rhythm after the wallbounce (for me its the flash after the wall bounce thats moment i press) and then when doing it alot it becomes muscle memory if you struggle you can instead of 5M do 2L into 5M(sometimes thats even optimal) Also keep in mind that thing game has a combo limit!, so if youre combos are too long they will always recover out of the combo 22X is pretty easy to explain its a pressure reset tool if youre opponents respects you Say for example you do 5L into 2M couple times and he starts blocking since he got a counterhit against him now if you do 5L 2M 236L hes just blocking and its his turn now, now instead of doing this you do 5L 2M 22M and you are +, now its youre turn again this way you can make them guess and make mistakes her stance is really good but you need to know when to use it (which im still learning myself) but some key moments i use stance is after throw for oki(making video on that right now) +2 low is disgusting after 214L you go into stance and can do alot of things from there 2M into stance into backdash or something that should help a bit, if you have any other questions let me know :)
Hey been looking for one of these kind of guides for Yuel, fighting game novice and probably picked the wrong character to start myself off with but I am stubborn and will learn how to get good with her. Oh quick question, would you suggest for 66L to use the dash button or double tap to dash
Hi :) I think Yuel is a pretty good choice to start with, some things are straight forward and once you get used to it the stance offers complexity The hardest part you will face is that you will need to learn alot and will probably lose alot, and thats hard to deal with it, but if you keep grinding things will change :) (i also think sticking with 1 char is better than hopping to a new char every week in the beginning) For the last question it depends on what you use if you are on pad or arcade stick 100% use dash button on hitbox is personal preference. you can do a drum motion where you press dash first and L right after and it will always be the fastest possible way.
Thanks for the guide. What are your thoughts on far 5H? I feel like it's another really good tool to stuff out run ins/66Ls because it stays out there for a while. Might be a little underutilized IMO
no problem :) Hm honestly i can't figure 5H out, for now i hardly use it. and the reason is that to 5M is just better in everything. (i also checked alot of high level Yuel players and none seem to use the button) if it has alot of active frames it could be good as defense against dashes and 66l but the startup is pretty big. For that i prefer using buffered 5L or 2M. But i could be wrong, i havent used the button alot so who knows :)
