In this format it is really tough to say because I don't think it is very good against the droll/board breakers that are everywhere - in reference to the Raika variant specifically. That being said the Raika engine adds so much power to the deck that it is really tough to pass up. Are you just playing at locals? If you are playing at locals and plan to just stay at locals, I would just stick with pure. I don't think the investment will pay dividends, at least not until the format changes and we see less droll, and less board breakers. If that happens, I say go Raika.
