Italian K-FOR troops have arrested an armed Kosovo Liberation Army soldier in the southern Kosovan city of Pec.
The arrested man was brandishing a gun and grenade on the streets.
K-FOR is trying to cut violence in Kosovo by ridding the streets of weapons.
Under the terms of the Kosovo Liberation Army's (KLA) demilitarisation agreement, its men are not allowed to carry arms in public.

Friday's arrest comes at a time of high tension between returning ethnic Albanians and the remaining ethnic Serbs in Pec.
The city is an important centre of the Serbian Orthodox church, but it is now almost empty of Serbs.
