i love that she didn't have this YUI persona, side. her voice has a different texture and flavor. she's a mature, more carefree, and happy looking yui now. i am so happy to see her like this although i still sometimes miss the old YUI. but whatever she does, as long as it's reasonable (not bad things), i will love her.
Same feeling.I love her and happy to see her joy but sometimes wish to listen "Merry go round" and "Driving today" live, but we all know that she may not perform these again....sad
@@dollyjay4585 To be honest,it's strange that describe some fans are ungrateful about YUI's solo career. They become her fans becoz of her music in solo period(especially in 2004-2008) and thus I can imagine that how disappointed they are after they listened the songs of Flower Flower. By the way,I have not bought any Flower Flower's album but I still keep all relatives, including guitar song books and albums of her in 2004-2008,and i don't think i am greedy and ungrateful. Her music style in Flower Flower is really not my cup of tea but I love her, wish her all the best and will keep concern on her. That's also a lot of YUI's fan feeling I realized and thus anyone can't deny it as well.
@@maxwong4746 im sorry if youre offended with my comment. I know, in fact i understand that. I've been following her since her debut in 2005 - 2012 (solo) , and 2013 until now (FLOWER FLOWER). Reading articles and watching her interviews about her thoughts in making music during solo, and also the reason why she left her solo career makes me feel sad n pain, that all those sort of things shes been through we didnt know until she open up through that interview. Other reason why she left solo career coz she didnt want to ruin YUI and feel afraid that she cant continue to sing as YUI, (im not saying shes not happy during her solo time, but these reasons proves that she cherish YUI a lot). I dont know if youve seen this interview ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4qXOFkn-dt4.html, about her thoughts and why she left solo. Theres another thing, while she need to release album every year, besides writing her own songs, she also supposed to compose as well (if you notice most of her solo songs were not composed by her) but the company sometimes doesnt agree the her composing style and makes her change that which lead her feel anxiety if the song fit with that style changing or not, and also if fans can accept it or not. Tbh for me between FLOWER FLOWER (FF) and YUI, theres not too much different anyway, not all FF music genre are alt rock (grudgy), there are some FF songs are quite similar to YUI, ex: in shiki album. Also, shes now has family and that imposible for her to come back as YUI. Im not against fans who missing YUI, but seeing the comments under FF vid that they kind of forcing her to comeback as YUI, it still makes me quite mad. I know FF music are not really suit to some YUI fans, but yui (FF) she seems more happy what shes doing right now, im also feel ease and happy for her. Me, as her fans since her debut year (2005), doesnt matter if shes YUI or yui (FF), im still happy shes back making music, and if shes feel tired and want to take a break, she can take it as long as she want, no matter what i will wait for her..
@@dollyjay4585 If fans actually stick with them and wait a little longer, they'll notice how FF songs sound better now. I hope that she'll continue making music and maybe retired at around 40 years old or before that (coz I just want to listen to more of FF songs if that makes sense lol) IMO, her health and being is more important rather than having her produce more songs with her 'old' style and put her under stress and even trigger anxiety. Just let her do what she wants to do with her music :)
