I think it's an interesting bit of consistency that in the early game Makoto can't do much to help with those thugs, but later on in social links like this or Nozomi Suemitsu's he can stand up to dudes just fine.

i think people in these comments aren’t realizing how the social links work. a lot of the interactions best outcomes are what the other person wants to hear, not what they need to hear or what you want to tell them (think kenji, encouraging him to pursue a married adult will bet the most points). for the im sorry choice, it’s more of her needing to hear something that calms her down in that moment. being told advice immediately after that situation is not a good choice

Its good that Makoto became a door, otherwise the way things could go with Yukari, he would've been the bed.

It's still Amazing to me how he didn't just beat them up he beat them up badly like dude came out unscathe with zero effort and decided to TOD every single one if even Yukari describe it as such.

I'm somewhat displeased by the general waifufication of most of the girls in the remake. I mean it ain't awful or anything, I'm not trying to be one of those Twitter using addicts that call everything sexist. But in the original I believe u get the option to hug her after this which will reverse the s link. But in the remake u don't even get any reverse options here I believe. I think the scene on the beach showcases this issue the best as it too was WAY more aggressive in the original. Also before someone gets the wrong idea, if u witness somebody before beat the shit out of 3 people, right infront of u, and then u very reasonably ask what the hell they just did, then they proceed to randomly hug u! (Especially in japan since hugging is a very implicit act in that culture, basically only meant for couples) Dont u think that would be rather upsetting too?

I really don't like the dub for this. I know some people don't like her yelling but that's what made her sound real to me. Sometimes people lash out unexpectedly in stressful situations. Also, it doesn't matter if you don't want to respond with "I'm sorry." The point of the Lovers Arcana is that you succumb to an UNCONDITIONAL relationship.

TYPICAL, getting the men to apologize even when it's NOT his fault as the "BEST" answer. I would've chose "it's okay to rely on others" REGARDLESS of the game's mechanics. MC helped her and HE's the one she berates for HELPING HER? Glad I didn't WASTE MY MONEY on this. The OG P3FES is the REAL P3 remake.
