Yukon is a territory located in the northwestern corner of Canada, bordered by the Northwest Territories to the east, British Columbia to the south, and Alaska to the west. It extends northward above the Arctic Circle to the Beaufort Sea, covering an area of approximately 186,272 square miles.
Yukon's landscape is characterized by rugged mountains and high plateaus. The climate is Arctic in the north and subarctic in the south, leading to long winters and short summers. Notably, during summer months, Yukon experiences 24 hours of daylight due to the Midnight Sun, while winter brings periods of Polar Night when the sun does not rise.
In this production, I start you off from eastern Alaska then crossing into Canada and the rest of the way are classic scenics of the Yukon as seen from the Alaska-Canada Highway. Take note of the absence of cars along the way.
